Re: ?Kickstarter Problem?!? Amtgard Foam Sword Fighting Proj

I was not allowed to use Kickstarter because I am a foreigner and they were very non-communicative in even telling me why I couldn't use them. So I wnet with Kickstarter. Yes, I know the Burning Man community seems to be totally into Kickstarter but Indiegogo is much more friendly and helpful and ha...

Hey Dadara, how's the fundraising going? Are you going to use Kickstarter or Indiegogo?

Hmmm...

I guess they're thinking it's a bit too edgy? Or maybe you're trying to game the system? I wonder if you can appeal?

Sorry to hear this but know that you still have A LOT of support even if the Kickstarter people don't get it.

Let me know what I can do to help

Thanks for the info y'all

I'm pretty familiar with Auroville being a huge Aurobindo and Mike Murphy fan but I haven't been there... yet.

All of the references are exactly what I was looking for and have started to look into them a bit, awesome!

Woo Hoo!

I just got my Art Money in the mail and the photos DO NOT do them justice! Really nice work, and impeccable quality as one would expect from Dutch design.

Thanks Dadara!

That's cool... I was just thinking of names that got a laugh and that one was a gut buster, it was actually told to me from Bethamphetamine if you know her. Point taken though if a "burner" used one of those names it would be kinda lame unless it was a coincidence. And again it was my bad not to men...

@Eric yeah that's true, I was gonna hyphenate it and forgot thanks though. I figure it would be a good playa name, you probably know of Anaconda and Foxycontin as well which are pretty rad names too. @Ygmir just to be clear in my opinion ludicrous = awesome! :D As an example I don't know what the ac...

Burning Man intentional community?

Anyone know if there is a year round Burning Man intentional community out there? I suppose it could be classified as an art colony but maybe something else? It's hard to imagine that some group of burner types haven't got something along these lines going by now and I was wondering if anyone knows ...

The amount of details means it's a lot of work to Make Money, especially when you're Making Millions. (sometimes art can be just like the real world) It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it :) So just to be clear when you say that you're "making millions" you are actually printing millions of ...

Yeah the exchange rate is really interesting. I saw on the Exchanghibition Bank website the sidebar that follows how different currency values relate to each other. I imagine that once your money goes into circulation it will be listed there as well? How does a new currency gain real value I wonder?...

Maybe you should look for a theme camp or sound camp who might be willing to hook up and combine forces to support
this project with a fundraiser in the States.
