Re: Playa Events Calendar = Fail

Yes, you can click on 'my events' and it shows the events that you have submitted. I was told that I had no remaining items in moderation either so I have missing entries.

Re: Playa Events Calendar = Fail

Did anybody else have problems getting items into the print guide ?

I'm talking to BMORG now and they don't seem to be aware of the server problems. I entered all my events by 1330 PT but some didn't get in for some reason.

Anybody else ?

Re: Any improvisers out there?

Hey! I'm an improviser in NYC and while this will be my first Burn this year, really wanted to bring something along and I was thinking of getting a Harold team together, maybe do a few guerrilla shows on the Playa. Also down to try new forms as well. Any interest? Hey Evan - message me here. I arr...

Re: Exodus 2013

How much would it cost to expand 447 an extra lane? It would be upwards of 500k per mile. Seems like a cheaper rate than rail, though: http://www.acwr.com/railroad-site-selection/costs-of-a-rail-siding.html rule of thumb for new track construction is between $1 Million - $2 Million per mile, depend...

Re: Useful Physical "Training" for the Playa?

If you are like me, ie. middle aged and desk bound, then be careful of your back as well. I had issues in 2006 that took me out of the last 1/2 of the Burn. Stretch daily, as well as hydrating and following the directions above. Listen to your body, and not just when it farts....

You should also draw a line in your mind as to how much 'maintenance' you're willing to give. If she passes that line, then maybe it's time to move on to another ... camp.

Thanks, Savannah. It's weird, though, because I did actually have someone in my camp say some anti-Quebecois things. I'll get right on the making-fun-of-Aussies thing, though Flight of the Conchords did it better than anybody could hope to. :P
