Is the same method as was done last year - the number of codes matches the number of tickets - being done this year? So that there will be no need to buy right when sales open at noon on Mar 1?

The Art Model Camp provides a shaded place to do figure drawing, and/or pose for drawings, no experience necessary for either. Male and female models, 2-20 minute poses in 30 minute sessions, with some artist supplies available (sketch pads and pencils, charcoal). Noon to 3 pm Monday through Sunday,...

Oh definitely. I've gotten less and less concerned about seeing the "good stuff" I see in the guide each year I've gone. More likely to find great things just wandering away from camp. I am curious if it'll make any difference at all.

Hello all, once again the Art Model Camp is coming to the playa. I managed to miss getting included in the printed WWW, but we're in the online version and will be there as usual. We're on the corner of 7:00 and Gold, in the AEZ. Look for the dome and 20x20 foot shade structure where the drawing tak...

Re: Shipping Address/Ship Method Changes

I tried to log in to ticketfly's site to confirm but it but it said bad account/password. The confirmation email I got a while ago has my correct address, so maybe I'll just wait it out.

edit: Changed my password and got in, so all's OK.

Re: Directed Group Sale

I eventually got mine (though the confirmation email goes to my home account so I can't check it for a couple hours).

I'm wondering if the DGS tickets are sold out now, 4:45 PST? IOW, did we need to jump on the site right at noon or could we have signed up at our leisure in the first few hours?

Re: Art question - brand names on boxes?

Since you're doing a commentary on commercialism, it would likely diminish your message to change the real names to joke ones, so I'd say keep the real ones visible. I thought Burn Wall Street would have been better with the real names, and the fake ones made it kind of a not-ready-for-Mad-magazine...

Actually "naturalist" is a birder. "Naturist" is a nudist.

There's a World Naked Bike Ride event, Wednesday or Thursday at 11:00 am til whenever, starting at the Man and hitting up a few bar camps. Maybe make arrangements for your beach to be the last stop.

I went to the art classes at the "figure drawing camp" in the AEZ last year. They had about 20 people drawing at the times of the program listings. Make sure you advertise and you'll draw the crowds. Yes, as above.

The art model camp will be at 6:30 and F in the AEZ, and we hold the sessions from noon to 3 every day, but Wednesday we'll be in the main AEZ area (the "Mayor's Office") rather than our own camp. We're in the WWW.

Anyone can draw or pose; sign up to pose if you're curious, no experience necessary and all body types appreciated. We do this in a shade struc...

Can people donate their drawings to AntiM's Home for Wayward Art? People can take their art and do whatever they want with them. They only need to leave the unused parts of the pads we provide for other artists. But we don't have framing capabilities, so being buffeted by playa winds for hours will...
