It's my escape from reality for a week. It's a place where I can go and relax all day long with no worries and a lot of awesome minded people. A place where I can be crazy fun and people don't look at me like a weirdo. It's just home. Use a soda can to shave.. Slice it, put some water in it, shave, ...

Check and see how many seats your van has. Commercial vans seat only 2 persons.

Teardrops are cool, I'd love to have one for the random camping trips I take through the year. They are small but functional and they can hold temp better than my tent :)

The cost last year would have been $800 by the time I had the hitch installed so I just took the Jeep and bought a carport.

I took the Vette my 1st year and it survived but I had a constant reminder of my shenanigans every time I turned the AC on for the next 6 months :) You took a 'Vette to Burning Man??? Dress yourself as someone from the Military.. When you approach a woman ask her if she would like to play war. When she asks what that is, calmly state "I'll get down on the ground and you can blow the fuck out of me."

Works every time.

I waited in the holding area in '08 and that's where the party really begins.. You have people DJing on top of their buses, plenty of high people, booze, etc.

I would really like to do it again, but I'm part of early crew now that gets to watch all you people go through "In-odus" :D

I bought a real cheap one last year and it was decent enough that if I let it blow directly on me, I could sleep through the middle of the day.

Both times I have been out I've used Septi-Soft.
Mix 1oz in to 1 gallon of water and use a hand towel to rub on, another towel to dry off. No rinse required and it even works on your hair.
