Re: What it's all about

Most Burners dont know this but for the past three years I have carved portraits with a chainsaw on playa in a sawdust containment cage so I don't create moop. In all my events I can claim more than 300 portraits and as many as 400..All my wood is sourced from trees taken down by residential tree s...

Welcome, black_rocky! :D

Some folks definitely gift pictures . . . there are photo booths on the playa, and photographers who take special portaits and exchange contact information with those who pose, and send the photos later.

I'm glad your first Burn was amazing!

Must agree with Eric. I use a complicated regimen of Diabetes drugs that have to be somewhat carefully timed to work with my insulin. My pill planner is critical. (especially if I'm tired, out of my normal schedule or have had a few) However... I keep these all in a kit (along with my syringes and ...

Welcome, SugarK(ate) ! :D I'm not a typical Burner either. Doesn't matter! "Mid-life REVELATION" . . . I like that. Not enough people say anything close to that. Perhaps go to this! http://www.ladecom.com/ And maybe join these! https://regionals.burningman.org/regionals/north-america/los-angeles/

Evening Bar. (* shakes jar of old dust onto the NEB) Home Burn at the Morris Burner Hostel was a nice clean change, with a very welcoming vibe. A happy evening, with good folks. We watched the live stream of the burn. Interesting the way it was sequenced with fireworks throughout and the big boom a...

I’ve used an O2 COOL brand fan before. It uses 8 D batts but works pretty good Met too! I have two 10" O2 Cool Fans, and I like them a lot. About $20 at Home Depot and Amazon. One of them is older (6 or 7 years old?) and requires a tiny tiny screwdriver to get into it, so if anyone orders one, I de...

What THEY said. Even a medical doctor on ePlaya would not want to give you medical advice without seeing you in person. See a professional. Tell them that you will be in a very dry climate, with highs of 100F+ (although next week looks like mid-90's, but I haven't looked further) and lows in the 50'...

Yes. Both of you would need Ticketfly accounts, and to meet in person. The transfer (instructions linked) happens very quickly and cannot be undone. If the transfer does not happen quickly, while you're together, it's probably not legit. Send the link to your seller so they know how it works, and wh...

Note that your driver and anyone else in the car would also need a WAP to be able to enter in early with you. Quite true. Work Access Pass covers a specific person; everyone in the car needs their own WAP. Contact your volunteer coordinator to see if they can help you. And make a post here: https:/...

Hey AtomicPanda, Welcome. You're no doubt still reeling over the loss of your son.
