Re: How many outfits or costumes do you bring?
Trying to plan for clothing. Can someone provide all the themed days? Monday ?, Tuesday Tu-Tu, Wednesday White? etc. Is there a pink day? Pink Heart Camp (look them up on FB/Google/etc) usually has a "Pink Ride" once during the week, where people flock to the camp for a shared bike ride in pink clo...

Re: The Assless Chapel Wants You!
I've gotta say: there have obviously been hundreds of weddings on the playa and several dozen churches and chapels, but I have not yet run across a camp specifically devoted to weddings on the daily, and I think it's a lovely idea. Y'all sound cool; good luck with everything. I wish I could play the...

Re: Dust Allergy; what to do?
Hopefully people with similar experience will offer solutions and ideas here. What I would suggest is that you have a plan to be able to leave at any point during the week if need be. A ride that doesn't get pinned in as more people arrive and fill in spaces. Yes indeed. Mirriver , you'll want to h...

Re: Another First Timer here
Thanks to you all for the kind messages and the help. I have heard about burning man online and I always wanted to go. It is kind of hard to describe why, but I am very fascinated by this thought of a shared community. Also I dont really know what to expect, but I guess I will figure things out on ...

Re: Rolling luggage / fabric suitcases?
Hello! Has anyone here tried bringing fabric rolling luggage (like airport checked bags) to the playa, and if so... -- Is it possible to clean the fabric exterior afterwards, and how did you attempt that? -- Do they really roll, or is it more like dragging once you hit the playa? Oh, it's dragging....

Re: First time burner seeking a camp
Welcome, Irish_Brady ! If you are largely self-reliant (i.e. not seeking a meal plan or showers) and are ready to be versatile and fun, look up Stag Camp on FB. Bonus for bike repair skills, or literally any others (building stuff, guying stuff down, staying late to help strike camp, etc). No dues, ...

Re: Your stories about getting tickets
Welcome to ePlaya. I entered the Burning Man ticket wash and rinse cycle in 1999 taken by a friend in real life. Today it is estimated there are 2 people who want to go for every 1 ticket. Do you know about https://regionals.burningman.org/? From them, you can find burner friends face to face in re...

True Detective Season 3 was great.
But True Detective Season 1 was even better.
(I skipped season 2, because it was apparently not worth it. Having looked at the cast, I'm like . . . I can imagine that. )

Hi everyone! I am a native Idahoan born and raised in Boise. I am learning about this awesome community. Hey guys, We are all just trying to make things work for everyone and all creatures in the whole entire world, for a long, long time. The playa is a good place to start. I'm kind of interested to know why they think they need a camp.
Anyone else curious?

That is a very shady way of saying "we passive-aggressively tie shitty knots."" . . . and of course help out with camp duties if you wish".

Re: How big is each unit of ice sold by Arctica?
I have 2 coolers and like Token says: I keep 'em on a wooden pallet and under a table and cloth, in the shade. (Now everyone knows how to get at my champagne!) Two blocks and a chopped bag can easily fit in an average cooler; it kind of depends on how much stuff you have. If in doubt, get an extra. ...

I don't think I've ever seen a shaded RV, but I suppose someone, somewhere, is doing it.
(RVs are already plush; I have napped once or twice in my friends' RVs . . . .the idea of shading one seems a little wild.)

This is not the usual Page Two but it is here. A long time ago a close burner female friend of child bearing age was romanced by two competing male burners. I was in the room at the same time for that palpable male energy. Well the "winner" made a baby. I keep in close touch with the mom. I just ca...

Hey There, Friend. If you don't get any results from seeking him via Googling "eplaya GreyCoyote diabetic" , or "eplaya GreyCoyote diabetes" the best thing to do would be to 1) save everything you can, to investigate it for yourself, and link it later--if you like it. 2) Never quote or publish anyt...

Re: Shave your balls NOW !!
Laser treatment, y'all--about 3 weeks before wanting the results.
It hurts less than wax, and lasts way longer (especially if you do a "package" of 6 visits on their recommendation of how often--usually no more than every 2-3 months apart).
You might need to repeat eventually.
