call me crazy...but I LOVE MRE's....I used to get so happy when they would let us take em out to the field for training day's. Was gonna take a case to the playa his year, but couldn't source out some authentic ones in time. =(

well from what i obsereved was that peopel with RVs on the side of the street faceing the wind with tents in front got railed by wind and dust...the other people who had the rv with the wind to their back and the tents in front seemed to not get destroyed by the wind dust...the rv was so much bigger...

yeah I watched from 1230am-245am my time...Made me a little sad but I least I could still watch the burn. going to go to a regional burn next year thats only a 5 or so hour drive from my home .....I think It'll be easier on me and the wife since if need be we can at least call each other and say goo...

i saw 3 trucks a car and a motorcycle pass a 6 car caravan (me included) on 447 and we did the speed limit the whole way...some people had to weave ina nd out of cars because of oncoming traffic....some were burners go figure!!!! and while leavin the playa i saw one car coming in doing the 10mph dow...

back from 3 days on the playa and I can say for certain that even with a prett well sealed tent you will get tons of dust in it!!!! And even having my car door open for no more that 30min the entire time the whole rental car got smothered in dust inside and out!

a friend brought my tent in last week...got his location so gotta find him when i get down..but all im bringing with me now is clothes and a stop at walmart in reno for food.

which is why i'm glad i packed 2 days ago......plane leaves to morrow and today i'm just marking locations/camps id like to visit on my map =)
