I like it, the Cult of the Manpurse. If you are wearing a watch wear it dial face in, on the left hand. Welll, because, you know, because. i always do... it's easier to look at the time and you dont scratch the face. win-win... http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/catalog/0424K_9_detail.jpg

Re: APOKLIPTIKA 2013

Two people camping with PWR is not 'Apok helping to launch PWR'. It's a purposely deceitful way of attempting to take credit for the ideas, vision, and work of others. The majority of campers with PWR have NEVER camped with Apok. I refuse to have our camp be a part of such a ridiculous lie. Again, ...

Re: APOKLIPTIKA 2013

I don't think BBSue is claiming that Apokliptika was responsible for starting the Playawaste Raiders, I think she is saying that members of Apok left to help start the Raiders, which is true but might sound misleading. Less than half of the members of the Raiders in 2009(the first year) left Apok be...

I have a friend, ex top-dog for a region for CALFIRE (californinias wildfire agency). He lamented, at times, being told to "stand down", while another agency tried to do, what they couldn't, and let things get out of hand. When, he had the materials and personnel, to do it. Not always, bu...

Please don't get the wrong idea, but what you might be thinking BurningMan is all about, might not be what it is for others. Many...

I guess from your list that meatetarians, omnivores, vegans, agnostics and atheists are not considered worth mentioning. That's the problem with lists, it's hard for individuals to make one that doesn't exclude items that others might find important. The reality of the Leave No Trace Principle is so...

You cannot "store up" sleep before you decide to stay up for four days.(91 hours was my "record") You can only try to recover afterwords, which may take two or more days. My rule of thumb is: for every day you are awake you will need another day recover. You become less effective...

Honey has a lot of amazing uses.

You need produced by honey bees local to your area if you want the best results with allergies.

You can also use crystallized honey as a facial scrub and save a lot of money at a beauty supply.

Packoderm, This what I meant when I said about our definitions differ. Just like when I think of skinheads I guessing many people would view the term in a negative manner. I grew up around the old punk movement of the 70s, and the skinheads of the mid-eighties were not the racists that have become a...

We grieve for our loss of those we care about. Those we grieve for have gone ahead to a more peaceful place, whatever it may be, their pain and discomfort ends. We should be happy for them. Re: Top Asshats of 2011 Burning Man

The first ten rows+ should be people seated ON THE GROUND. No chairs. Then some standing room, no bikes. Then art cars. Then the bike clusterfuck. If I arrive an hour after most everyone else and there are not 10+ rows of people sitting where I have chosen to stand, I am going to assume it is OK to...

To me, it appears the clear solution is: When you arrive at any of the burns, you should be considerate of those who have arrived BEFORE you have. If you intend on standing, Then do not do so in front of others who have chosen to sit, you should find another place where you do not block someone's vi...

Almost all cylinder combo locks are defeatable within minutes. You don't need any special tools, or even light, just start at one end and feel for the tension to ease when you click into the right combo. If you want a combo lock then I would suggest spending a little more for a more secure combo loc...
