Re: Greetings from Boston :)
I had a full head of curly brown hair when I first came to Burning Man. Now I'm a burned out shell of the man I used to be. Do the math. Uggh! I'm near that 20 year mark.scriptorpress wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 5:35 pmWow! You are in this area!![]()

Re: Greetings from Boston :)
That cross country trip is a lot of fun. I did it with my artcar a few times. It's like a traveling carnival. The area reserved for Burning Man is 7 square miles, so the open feel is still there. You can be out in the open playa and do a full 360 spin and not see another person. I'm in the suburbs s...

Welcome back Raymond. BRC has changed a bit over the years, but the overall feel is the same. I've been afraid to skip years for fear of losing momentum. 2020 was tough, but I don't feel I've missed anything since it didn't happen. I guess you're planning on coming back in 2021? Indications are that...

Plan to fly in. Would like some info, from experience, on motels. Will have a rented vehicle. Nothing fancy - just clean and cheap. How are you plans coming along? Have you started pulling pieces together yet? We are here to help and guide you along Art. With a name like "Art", you have to be good....

I’m curious as to if he isn’t convicted in this Impeachment can he be tried for the deaths of people who died that day, thinking of Manson. Or is the impeachment also covering any other charges for crime grandpa re: January 6th? :coffee: I'm thinking that every last piece of evidence is going to be...

I wanted so badly to go in 2020, we had a whole plan. It would have been our first burn. So what is the news for 2021?? Will tkts go on sale as usual? This is a bucket list item for my friend and me, we are really hoping everything pulls together for 2021. Hopefully 2021 will happen and you get to ...

Everything was fine until the "weekenders" showed up and started leaving their Depends in the Porto's. By Saturday night every pump truck was broken. Exodus was very telling as we witnessed piles of cheap aluminum walkers where in previous years there would have been abandoned bicycles. I'd have to...

Re: Donald Trump is my hero
Trump is also under pressure, the pressure of impeachment, of course, and the loss of his social media platforms. He is also under financial pressure, as Deutsche Bank, the only bank that would still lend to him, has announced it will no longer do business with him. But, according to Maggie Haberma...

I've always stayed at the Courtyard Marriott using credit card points. If you're spending real dollars, this will cost more. They are always extremely accommodating. I ship boxes ahead to the hotel and they hold them for me. I've also done will call boxes to be picked up by UPS after the burn. They ...

Due to a visit from the Board of Health caused by social distancing violations, we had to move our Burning Man Bar around the corner. Go down the side ally and you'll find an unmarked door. Knock twice and whisper the secret password---you know what it is: PINEAPPLE. Welcome to the Burning Man Bar 2...

Some more questions. Since I'll be flying in, I will be purchasing items locally. i.e. ice chest, shade tarp, air mattress, propane stove, propane, landscape spikes, etc. I won't be taking items back with me. Do other burners accept stuff like this on exodus? it will be dusty. If not, who might acc...

For some weird reason, 2021 is looking a lot brighter. Vaccines on the fast track and new leadership in Washington.
I am hopeful that we'll all be meeting up again in the Black Rock Desert in August. Time will tell.
