Re: Good luck to all those participating in the Main Sale!!!
It appears that there are still $675 tickets available, over twenty-four hours after the main sale opened. This is likely an off year for me personally (usually I skip alternate years), but I do like to keep an eye on the ticket demand and status. Hey BVB. This appears to be the year for people who...

Re: Choose your own adventure in ticket opportunities
What are you getting up to August 30 to September 7? Does it involve getting dusty with amazing humans, building a grand participatory city, and appreciating phantasmagorical sunrises? Thought so. Then you’ll want to know registration for the Main Sale for Black Rock City 2026 tickets is open now. T...

Re: Fingernail protection?
I'm on a build crew and am on the playa for three weeks. My fingernails are worked hard, get brittle and crack. I've heard that fingernail polish really helps protect them. What is the best type for that? This has worked really well for me. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71qHfmwvZ0L._AC_UF1000...

I'm happy to be here! I had my first burn this year, and I can't stop thinking about it! I can't wait to go back! Hello Owl, I'm glad you finally made it out to the Black Rock Desert. If you were there on Saturday, you got quite the windy/dusty welcome. I brought 2 first timers with me, and really ...

Re: Holding Down Shelter - Structural Engineer Needed Please
I'm not a structural engineer, but I've seen a lot of similar structures on the playa. I am wondering if there are holes for lag bolts on this structure? A quick count looks like 50 lag bolts would hold this down pretty solid. You can go as long as you wish on the bolts, but I found that 12" lags ar...

You may want to send a message to the seller directly. Posting here for them to message you, would mean they would need to see you post by chance.rorollmusic wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 7:54 pmHi,

Tesla as a base for mutant vehicles
There appears to be a glut of Tesla cars and cyber trucks being turned back in by people who are no longer comfortable driving them for one reason or another. These vehicles may be unpopular on the road, but are mechanically still in good shape, and selling used at fire sale prices. Buying a car use...

He's trying what Netanyahu did, by goading the terrorists to attack the US, and forcing America to have a war. This video will inflame the Middle East. Trump doesn't really care about US blood, only his own popularity.Simon of the Playa wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 4:10 amhttps://bsky.app/profile/atrupar.com/post/3lj2mhga6kk2a

Welcome Ethan. It's not too early to start planning. There's nothing keeping you from stepping up and making 2025 your virgin year on the playa. You just have to want to do it. Re: How to prepare for Burning Man 2025
My biggest challenge going to Burning Man for the first time, was the fear of the unknown. I've been to deserts before, but his was a survival thing. Deserts were scrubby, and rocky, with rocks and cactus. It was also in the early days of the internet, so there were no pictures or YouTubes to look a...

I don't think there's a person who would fear for their life if they were locked in a room with this guy--even if he had a gun with him. He certainly did bring the issue of corrupt health insurance companies screwing the public, to the front and center of the news.

Let's tariff the China even MORE. That will teach them a lesson. Wait a minute---is the American public paying the higher prices to cover the tariffs? Isn't that tariff money going directly to the US Government? So the public is paying the tax to the US Government because they're buying Chinese good...

Re: Vehicles in the Walk-In Camping Areas - What are the Rules?
You can unload all your camping gear and other supplies from your vehicle. You might want to leave your bike in the vehicle when you go to park it, then ride it back to your camping spot. Hide valuables in your locked vehicle.
