Re: HEY!!! @%$#^&!!!

You may want to take a moment to introduce yourself and tell about your project.
Introductions go a long way. A message was sent to your PM box explaining the issue.
I appreciate you clearing things up, and look forward to seeing your project on the playa in just 7+ short months. 8)

Let me be the first to offer CONGRATULATIONS on your cute little girl. I look forward to meeting her on the playa in a few years. I am so happy to see life and all the things around it going well for you. This is an awesome start to 2018. :D Big hugs to you, Matilda and Blu! Sham.... http://www.lilb...

Re: Ready to come home. Finally.

The first thing I would highly suggest is to plan on leaving your default world accomplishments at home. You should not be talking about work or successes while on the playa. While there, you will be an indigent, dusty waif. With nothing to buy on the playa, there is no need for money in your pocket...

Welcome to eplaya and the dusty world of Burning Man. It seems like you've done a lot of reading and looking. I would HIGHLY suggest that your first year on the playa, that you go light on the volunteering. There is so much to see and do, and oodles of people to meet, that the your schedule might ge...

I'm not sure what you're talking about a compulsory quiz. This looks like the same information that's been provided for the past several years.

This happened to everyone who had messages in their boxes. Trilo is aware of this and I know it's being looked at and worked on.
This happened several weeks ago. Stayed tuned on the explanation and resolution.

Re: Emergency food

Personally, I would spend my money on more "real" food for the week. You will end up paying a large premium for this shelf stable food when you could buy fresher food that only has to last a week. I have tried the freeze dried food, and it seems to give me stomach distress. I do have a lar...

Lol, it just means my jeeps coming with me, I'm bringing a small trailer 4'X6' ish (whatever I can find to use) just to carry all my stuff! Do small utility trailers need to be registered? I think that the term "jeep in tow" means he is bringing the jeep with him and not really &quo...

Found on the playa at the 747 Big Imagination mid week. It is a iphone 7 plus (pretty large screen), with a unique black matte skin applied to all sides. Can't tell if it's an S or not... There is a unique background picture on it, if you can describe it, it's yours! It's locked though, so we can't...

Re: Rain Boots on the Playa?

Good question on the rain boot. In 15 plus years, I have only seen rain a very few times--and for a very short duration. Chances are, if it rains when you're there, you will be far away from camp and you won't have your boot. If you're in your camp and it starts to rain, stay put, and you won't need...

Jeep is tow cause I just don't know where I'll end up. As you are probably aware, once you get to a camping spot, you're not allowed to drive a vehicle on the playa. Bring a bike for transportation around BRC. What you may NOT be aware of, is if you bring a vehicle in tow that's not a regis...

Maybe Mr_Wolfe can post a photo of the bunny. It only has a value to the daughter, so there is no security issue with it going to the wrong person. 8)

At what point in a new relationship do you bring up the fact that you have been to Burning Man (six times) and know you are going to have to explain what Burning Man is? Welcome Leotrap. There is quite a bit of planning for your first adventure to Burning Man. You can purchase presale tickets for more money, but you have a much bett...

The opening of the exhibit will be taking place on Thursday afternoon/evening. Not exactly sure of the specific details at this time. The entire building is being used for the displays of Burning Man. If you are within a plane flight of DC, you might consider making this trip.

The one that I used was more along the lines of a hoverboard, not the large, big wheeled Segway that had handles.
