I'm Handicapped, will I be able to Burn?

Hi guys, this will be my first time at burning man, and I'm worried about this whole "radical self reliance" because I'm handicapped. I walk with a limp and I'm in constant pain from my feet. I cannot walk very well or very far and I can't carry anything very heavy (like for example camping equipmen...

Piece of advice for hitchhiking, too. Never accept a ride unless you know that your drop-off point isn't a place where you'll get stuck, and trust me, there are a LOT of places in SoCal that aren't hitcher-friendly. For example: Orange County. Fuck that place. Not only will they refuse to give you ...

Dougly, thanks for the info! I actually like the city setting very much so being crowded is not a problem for me, so long as the city is well planned and managed. Big cities always have something fun to do. Are there any good hippie communities like Co-Op housing projects or things like that in SD? ...

Oh Dougly, do you live near SD? I'd love to hear about it. The main draw for me is that it's supposed to have the best weather in America.

Da Mule,

Thanks and Thanks! I was wondering how to fix that box thing, and that event in SW Michigan looks SOOOOOOO amazing. I think it's less than 30 minutes drive from where I am now.
Welcome, Wanderman !!! Now that you are an educated, professional hitch-hiker, does that mean that you will travel south in the winter and roam northward in the summertime, or would that make you just "one of the flock?".
haha, My current plan is to do a loop in t...

Ugly Dougly,

I've played the saxophone since 6th grade. I love it more than I will ever love a woman, lol.

I just learned the guitar this year, and I sing a little.

Do you play? We should jam in Nevada

Hi Everybody, former hitch-hiker jumping back into the fold

Hi there guys! I'm coming to burning man for the first time. It's something I wanted to do for years. When I was 18, 19 and 20 I had some pretty good adventures, I hitch-hiked and couchsurfed across America a few times, and also Europe, I wrote and played the saxophone as I went. But then, sadly, I ...
