Are all the tickets in this program being distributed before noon tomorrow? 10,000 less people in line should be helpful.

Re: 2012 Theme Camps - will you make it this year?

This lotto is going to separate the self reliant super cool camps, from the pansey sparkle pony wannabe camps. Only the strong will survive. Word. Champagne Lounge got about 15% of our 30 requested tickets. We will still be there this year. Our camp was formed out of the implosion of one camp and i...

Re: Getting carded on the playa

At Champagne Lounge it would be acceptable if the person serving you accepts it. Same as other posters, the person that incurs the fine is responsible for the fine. The camp offers no support for members if they do get caught up in this situation. If any of us do deny you, or any other camps, becaus...

Re: Tarp material advice needed...

In my camp we go to an outdoor advertising company that do billboards and buy the used ones. They are about 18' by 48' and have white on the backside. They are super thick, no sun breaks through, you can cut holes in them for tie down places and they do not rip, and they are $25. We use them on our ...

on the plus side, frat boys and blatant tourists will also be mostly gone. I am a fraternity brother as is almost every guy in our theme camp, "Champage Lounge." This is our forth year in our second incarnation of this theme camp and we pride ourselves in providing a service to BM and being an acti...

You do know that Las Vegas is about a 10 hour drive from BRC? Sacramento is only 4 hours if you can change your ticket to there or Reno....Hell even San Fran, that's 6 hours away.

Similar Art Car

I built and own an art car that looks like a desert island with two palm trees in the front with a hammock and a boat on top is where I put all the driving controls. I have been bringing this car for 3 years now. This year, I heard TONS of stories from my campmates about an art car that looks very s...

Sounds completely f'ed up. Even for all the people that will say the org does not owe you anything, they told you what to do, you did it, and then were screwed at the last possible second. IMO, you are not whining, did what you were told without complaining, it's only the *new* thing they sprung on ...

I plan on cooking meth out there. Nothing like the playa for a nice sterile environment. You have room for all my sudafed, burners, and beakers? I will totally take you up on this! I love this gifting economy.

My ideas

For my shade I buy used bill board covers. They are made out of really thick vinyl and you can cut a hole in them for tie downs and they dont tear after doing so. They only cost $25 from out door ad companies and are 14 foot by 48 foot. Way cheaper and better then actual tarps IMO. They will have ad...

DOME STRUT THICKNESS HELP!!!!!

Ok so I am building a dome for the first time. It is 20 ft diameter, 3V and I have an issue on strut thickness. I have a playa buddie who built his dome 24 ft diameter 3V with 1 inch EMT conduit and I bought 3/4 inch EMT conduit and started cutting. He is confident that my dome will not be strong en...
