How to clean a black shirt with electronics inside it.

So I wore a t-shirt that's black and has a graphic that lights up and moves up and down depending on how loud things are around it.
any suggestions for how I could remove the playa dust from it without making it fade or destroying the electronics?

In fairness, by the time the rumor came around to me the rocket ship was only going to lift a few feet of the ground.
However, I still got tired of waiting and wandered away to have an awesome time elsewhere without waiting!

My first time was this just passed event. I'm drugs and alcohol free and always have been.(Yeah, boo, whatever guys :-)) I had a great time, and didn't once feel like I got any crap from anyone that wasn't playful in nature. Remember BRC is over 40,000 people. Your experience, like in any city, depe...

Very fair point. :-)
But these days it's fairly common practice for employers to look you up online. I guess that's what playa names are for.

Some things that amused me about nudity at Burning Man I observed my virgin year. Nudity at burning man really isn't a statement like it is at festivals in colder regions. It seems, in that heat, it's more of a statement going around covered up! I didn't go naked because I don't want some employer f...

I can imagine how the Law Enforcement when the event was first coming to be would have been nervous. When I substitute teach I sometimes find that students doing things that aren't really against the rules can accelerate into problems I have to deal with. I could imagine as a LEO that the general cr...

One of the stalls near my camp had an electronic device playing fur Elise inside it somewhere. I didn't know where it was coming from but I heard it every time i used a stall near it!

This was my first burn. I was told not to park on the esplanade or I would get ticketed.(I didn't even know I was on the Esplanade I was lost.) Otherwise, I had zero awareness of any law enforcement. From the way the forums made it sound I was expecting to have NARC's asking me where to get pot the ...

My real response to my first burn this year can only be expressed with curse words. My mind was blown away. I have had no precedent within my previous life experiences to prepare me for burning man. If my life continues as I've been intending it to, I wont be able to go next year. But the year after...

I consider it peformance art. A battle against the futility of purifying one's self from past experiences. I will waste large amounts of time(and bleach) in a futile attempt to recover from the debauchery of burning man......or maybe I'm just curious if it CAN be cleaned.

You can take a man off the playa.....

You can take a man off the playa, but you can't take the playa off his stuff. There was a pair of socks that released even more epic billows of dust, but I didn't manage to capture those on video. Then to the playa soon after.

Even the snarkiness on these forums is surprisingly worth reading. So I have high expectations for the event. :-)

Well when a plan flies overhead, I technically can't identify the type or the serial number or what airline it comes from. So I guess that means it's unidentified.

So unless there are no plans flying over burning man I assume at my first burn I will see flying objects I can't identify.

Well I'm an experienced practice dummy!
For the later half of my martial arts training(at our college club) I was the guy the instructor would sweep down to the ground and punch in the face to show everyone the "right" way.

In a military hand to hand combat training manual i have, they use bags of sand instead of a mat. Too bad you can't dig deep up the sand there and just bring the bags!

No, but I have a rare metabolic condition most commonly found among descendants of the Boers.

Plus, I accidentally pronounce parmesan Par-meh-Zon sometimes because a South African friend of mine.

Does that help?

Yeah buying a fancy new bike for the playa is a non-option for me at this point. I'm flying into LA, and the plan was to buy a cheap bike to toss in the van. If I can get riding down in time. I should be practicing and not posting here. :-)

Damn Canadians too? Well I was born in the U.S. then I was legally adopted by someone from Canada, yet proceeded to grow up in the U.S. In light of recent law changes I'm technically a duel citizen of the U.S. and Canada. Does that mean I'll be banned because half of me is legally Canadian? I was ho...

I studied martial arts for four years in a college club that went from a three days a week very organized Tae-Kwon-Doh club, then in the next two years to a once a week whatever the new president felt like teaching club. Learn on the Playa. Post an event in the WWW guide. Do it daily at Deathguild/Thuderdome. Wear only knee/elbow pads, helmet and good boots. Ask folks to hold the seat and jog along. You MUST be bare assed for that part. Documenting it is definitely an interesting idea. Also, if I dress like that, I...

How dead am I if I don't learn to ride a bike in time....

How dead am I if I don't learn to ride a bike in time for burning man? I'm about 20 years late to learn. I wanted to learn in time. But every bike I try I'm not sure if the bike is too small, or my driveway is too steep, or if I just have no idea what I'm doing. I probably should suck it up and hit ...
