Thanks for the tips CfM & slvrnmph!! You totally helped me visualize how to do it.

Reading these schedules is making me very excited... Last year was my first year and this is basically what happened: 8:30 am: Awakened by sun and heat in tent. MUST USE BATHROOM! Stumble out of tent, throw on slippers and scoot off to the JOTS. 8:45: Return to camp to gather friends who woke up aft...

There was a fire in my apartment not too long ago, and in order to get the smoke out of the clothes I salvaged, we doused my clothes in baking soda and put in the washer with white vinegar and alcohol. We first used some moonshine (yes - moonshine) that my stepfather had, then downgraded to Georgi. ...

I think you mean "loin cloth." Lion cloth makes it seem like musty old fur.

It was both mine and my BF's 1st burn this year. We drove from nyc to reno and back. We also camped together. Due to personal issues within our relationship, I had felt that we would break up after the burn. Turns out we made it there and through the event unscathed and closer than we were previousl...

RE Artemis: I understand that most people have absolutely no comprehension of what psychoanalysis is, so I don't take other people's judgment of my therapeutic choices seriously. I thought by indicating that I was "in psychoanalysis" may ring a bell with anyone who has experience with that form of t...

Thanks for the Nextel and Satellite suggestions. Four times a week? Yes, I understand how outrageous that sounds. However it's pulled me out of a hell hole of depression and inability to function in daily life. Psychoanalysis is (for me) the most ridiculous and difficult and painful and wonderful th...

Missing a Therapist at Burning Man

Hello, this will be my first year at Burning Man, one thing that I'm very concerned about is that I currently see a therapist 4 days a week (I'm in psychoanalysis). For Burning Man I will not see her for over a week. I'm expecting to have a wonderful, spectacular time, but also know that there is a ...
