Re: Advice for what NOT to bring as a birgin tenter

Yes! Do bring those wipes. They also come in 'scrubby'. This is the most efficient way to wash your dishes. Then spray them with water, (letting it drip onto a towel), and you're done. No grey water. Don't use them on your privates. Make sure you rinse the dishes. I've been told the remaining chemi...

you should probably turn it into burning man If I was German and lost my phone, the first place i would go to is Burning Man lost and found. I am not sure if burning man manages a lost and found after the event to return lost items to its owners (i know EDC for Insomniac does it), but probably wort...

Re: WHERE IS LOST & FOUND?

There is the Lost and Found at HQ, who actually have the items and will post pictures of them them online. Here at eplaya, we will soon have lost and found forums. However, with everyone returning from the playa and getting their own lives in order on top of everything, it can take a little time. No...

Re: Speeding in BRC on the playa?

There's a pirate ship with fill on working rigging which is allowed outside the trash fence with special permission and sails on wind power. It is allowed more than the 5 mph in that case. On city streets, 5 mph needs to be the rule, or as close as one can get without falling over. Out on the open p...

Re: WHERE IS LOST & FOUND?

Either way is workable, but I send a short personal note with each. Open Discussion and the other forums can become unusable if the lost items get out of hand. Also, it helps to make contact with individuals, let them know the difference between eplaya and the actual Lost and Found at HQ, where the ...

Four wheels plus assist is not allowed. I used to have a four wheeled bike and we never added the electric motor for that very reason.

Re: Ride OFFERED / BU DRIVER NEEDED - Leaving Sun 8/11 in LA area!

So ARE you offering a WAP to the driver whether he/she camps with you or not? The posting is so vague. Enjoy Reno for a week? On who's dime? You have a ticket to offer them? Wow. Are you new at this? I really do wish you luck. It ain't easy. I'm sure you'll get someone. What's a 'BU' driver? They a...

You've both posted in Utah Burners on FB too, right? https://www.facebook.com/groups/Utah.Burners/ Also, if you're in Utah, Reno is not on the path. We stay overnight in Winnemucca. So exciting. Make reservations, every motel in Fernley fills up! Check out the Sands Barbie deal if you are set on Reno.

You left out one thing. Your passenger needs to have a WAP. (Early entry pass). They can NOT get in without one. Good luck on the journey.
This is assumed, and WAPs must be discussed privately, not in the post. But yes, rider must be approved for arriving early to work.

Haven't heard of such a thing, and Ticketing no longer releases up to date voided ticket numbers. Proceed with caution it sounds like something a scammer would cook up.

However, there are a number of articles, recent ones, saying that ashes are routinely left in the Temple. So make your choice. It isn't scattering, so there's that.

Thank you for the correction, it is duly noted. You can leave ashes in the Temple. Make sure they're in a combustible container (look on Amazon for bio-degradable urns). I am taking my husband's ashes this year, and his kilt. Hell, a whole skeleton dressed in his gear to hold his paper urn. CREMATED...
