The responses that I've gotten has helped me to decide greatly.

Thanks everyone. :)

I think I might just get a ticket in January and plan to attend. If worse comes to worst I'll end up selling it. Which I probably won't do but it'd be nice to know I could.

I see what you're saying Shambala. It's ultimately how I see myself and if I'd be capable of the adventure. I also feel like it could be a very wising experience.

I'm a male btw.

After going back and reading the thread, to answer your original question I'd say Absolutely YES! And I would move heaven and earth and do whatever it takes to pul...

I really only like poems that rhyme. Sorry.

If you can make that poem rhyme I'll quote it and say 'Good point' if it deserves it. That is my promise to you.

Is this not an answer to your initial question? Is it not, in fact, the best answer to your initial question?
Good point.

NY Burners

Anyone here from the NY region? I've been debating weather to go or not this year for the first time because I would have to make the pilgrimage alone and will have just turned 18 when I depart. So I was wondering if there are many others from the NY region who make the trek and any advise that they...

Yeah, I heard that a lot about losing expectations. Thats a good idea in general relation to life I believe. Anyway I still got some time to do research and much thinking if thats what I want to do. I feel like I have the opportunity to travel and to go this year but who knows what life has in store...

Hey Zach, I find that the whole freedom of expression is really interesting I'd like to observe and participate in it. The fact that a city of 50,000 pops up and disappears. A want to be part of something much bigger than myself. Meeting cool people. Overall it seems like it would be an experience t...

To those who honestly and peacefully responded: Thank you. To those who were being jerks: What the hell? I'm asking for an honest opinion not to be mocked. To those who asked for more info: I am fascinated with the whole idea and concept of Burning Man. I would want to go because it seems beautiful ...

Should I go to burning man?

It would be about 6,000 miles both ways and I would have to journey it alone.

What do you guys think?
