I bring a beach cruiser and a forward driven side by side rear steered four wheeled bicycle. When heading out for the day, I load the side by side up with water, food and other items of need. When in camp and I want to buzzzz over somewhere it is the bike.

It's an extra $1000+ for me. We're not all in the same boat captain. I haven't abandoned ship yet. Just looking for the pilot buoy.

You may get lucky and be able to install an overdrive unit on the bus. Check with GEAR VENDERS in I think Santee Ca. It will bolt up to the tranny. I'm not familliar with buses enough to know for sure but this business will be able to give very good advice on the matter.
