"Carla", the grand piano WILL be there, no question. Everything dialed in to get her there is in place. As soon as I hit the Playa, she's belongs to Terminal City and from there, well.....

Cheers!

"Carla, the Grand Dame" Steinway will make her final "performance" @ BM. Just had my left foot amputated this week (really), but still have the right one remaining for "sustain" pedal. Not sure where to take her when I get there, but Terminal City has ultimate control of her demise. She awaits with ...

Sound wisdom and just all around sage advice!! I have "friends" of "friends" that live in Reno. Holding area with DPW would be ok, but not sure if it's outdoors or indoors (it's a climate control thing). Want to play this lady once more when we get there (it's a tuning thing) and then it's game on!!...

Already scored a trailer for the piano! I will bring it with me to Black Rock. If I am volunteering earlier than August will run back to WA to get it. She's gonna burn. Would be a blast to launch it but you're gonna need a bigger trebuche. Say a "somewhat" safe landing could be figured out for an ac...

Have signed up to volunteer with DPW and several others (virgin wanting to experience everything BM). I am retired and am able to move anytime i'm needed. I...

Steinway piano/"pinemom"/Terminal City

It's long, black, large and heavy. It's a full-sized concert orchestral grand for stage, not baby grand or full grand. Bigger than Casablanca/Rickish keyboard. Just so you are aware of it's "presense". If still commited to it's ultimate demise as I am.....it will be delivered. Let me know! Scored a ...

If I am to believe in one of the basic Burning Man tenants, i.e. "no expectations", then I myself just wish to survive, but hold no great hopes for the Steinway (born 1899) to come away unscathed. The piano and I have had several conversations....at length and sometimes at great odds......often quit...

I may have been inseminated! Yes! Come to think of it, really didn't feel warm and squishy......although.....she said that Bruno's had the best sausage.......hhmmmmmmm. One wonders. Was her information just shear profundity or..... No matter, Burning Man will be a birth (re-birth)...."and now, live ...

So this 66-year-old cougar walks up........

Was @ a party a week ago here in WA and this girl (i'm 55) walks up and starts talking about when she lived in Reno, blah, blah, blah.....and did I know about Burning Man! Long story, short.....didn't get laid but (even better) got the skinny on BM. Virgin ready to take the plunge. So many times, wh...

Northern Idaho

Virgin myself. Learned of Burning Man a week ago and buyin' a ticket for the ultimate ride in 2010. Going to volunteer for anything to help pull it off, so leaving asap if the need arises from Clarkston, WA.
