Hey, I'm looking to rent a trailer or RV for BM 2011. I am wondering if anyone can let me know if they have used Adventure America and if they were happy with service, etc. Any information would be awesome. Thanks!

My advice? Don't bring anything to the playa that you have any sentimental value for (unless it's playa sentiment and you don't mind the dust coating). My bike did okay, and I used it for two years without a problem. But, once you take it to burning man, it remains a BM item. There's no going back.

That sounds great if you have the mad skill set of knowing how to build a moving vehicle from scratch. If we couldn't use existing vehicles as bases there's no way I could participate in BM with a mutant vehicle. With that said, I wish I had the know-how to build from the ground up!

Is it okay to use a go cart art (dune buggy) as a base for Mutant Vehicle if it looks nothing like a go-kart when it's finished? Or is this base frowned upon?

We're planning to make an American Speedster PVC quadricycle for BM 2010. I've only used a "regular" bike on the playa. Does anyone have advice or experience with this PVC 4-wheeler? How does it handle? Any comments would be appreciated! Thanks! :D
