Love This Kit
For the money it is a steal. There is a huge online community of people who have done great things with it. I have built on to it myself and will have my setup out on the playa this year. As for making it playa durable... I drilled out some places for machine screws to hold the flimsy frame together...

Gifting?
I saw something here about me not worrying about gifting my first year. I have to confess I have been working on what I think will be a cool gift to hand out to people I meet... and hoping to bring about 150 of them. I am making them with the help of a group of art students here in Georgia. They wil...

Great Thread
I lurk around on here much more than I post. This is going to be my first burn... so I am excited and also a bit nervous about bringing the right amount and type of gear. Thanks for all the tips everyone. I am actually crunching a pickle as I type this. My only question on gear is my footwear. I am ...

Atlanta Bound Here...
I am headed out from the Atlanta area... I would love to hook up with the Alchemy caravan or just some regional burners. I haven't been active on this forum for the past two months as I have been backpacking out of the country. Just sort of playing catch up.

Wagon Train... Oregon Trail... Westward Ho!
Archeolojust,
Game on! I would love to follow you and your mates out! Are you going to be at the Colab Prom this weekend?
Look for me if you do! I will have cobalt blue hair and hopefully a matching blue tie!

I am planning on making it out to Black Rock for the first time this year. Did you make the Chow and Chat recently at CoLab?
I am planning to drive out if you want to consider splitting gas and driving time!

Thank you!
Thanks for the warm welcomes...
I will try to get some pics posted of some things I have made. I like to do little steampunk tidbits for friend's costumes and have done some minor electronics tinkering under the tutelage of a mentor of mine. Just starting to find the time to really explore it!

Looking Westward With The Right Kind Of Eyes
Hello All, This is my first post on the eplaya. I have wanted to make it to a burn for years... and this year it finally is going to happen for me. One way or another I will be there. I will be coming from Atlanta and might caravan behind some of the local community here if I can coordinate it. I de...
