Re: Tent Questions!

Hello all you wise veteran burners. I've been looking for precut rebar pieces here and having no luck.W Can't comment on the stakes, but you're really not able to find precut rebar? Where are you? Any Lowes or Home Depot will sell 2 foot long, 0.5 inch thick rebar. Yeah, I've looked at 3 Home depot...

Re: Decent box wine?

When the box is removed it turns into "Space Bag".

I've also seen wine in a carton. The people drinking it said it wasn't bad.

Re: Coconut water electrolyte hydration

I've tried every coconut water brand that I could find. So far, "Taste Nirvana" wins for best taste IMO. They sell it in bottles and these larger cans. I'm planning on getting a couple cases to bring with me this year. http://static.caloriecount.about.com/images/medium/taste-nirvana-coconut-water-55...

You can use these handy dandy tarp clips:

they had these same clips at home depot.

or you can use a bottle cap, wrap a corner of the material around the cap then tye a rope around the cap & fabric.

For the price that caport on amazon that playagoddess linked looks way too flimsy. I would pass that up and go to costco and pick up one with nice sturdy 2 inch metal legs. Judging from the images in the link, it doesn't look like it would hold up very well. I picture that thing being caved in by We...

Any Costco carport will be fine. Use 8 pieces of rebar (one for each leg). Really tie it down good with good rope. I've used one on the playa for 5 years now and it's still in good condition. They only cost around 190-200 dollars. Costco carports have the thick metal legs. Do not buy a cheap one fro...

I'm wondering if it would even be worth us using floor covering. We use 1 (maybe 2) 10'x20' carports. The sides don't come all the way to the ground, and dust would still blow under the sides. Thoughts? We lay down a giant tarp under the carports as a floor covering. You can wrap the whole tarp up ...

We were camped right near the rubber ducky camp accross from the coffee camp at like 9 & E. But there was also that cool duck art car too.

That giant rubber ducky camp totally packed up and left early. That kind of threw us off.. we were using their camp as a marker to find our camp.
