I must of got real lucky with timing last year, Got to the gate at about 12:20am on Monday and it took about 2 or so hours to get in. Hell I found camp, set up my tent, drank a few beers, and checked out the man all before sunrise. Not expecting to get that lucky this year.

went "solo" last year, best experience of my life! It allows you COMPLETE freedom to do whatever you want, whenever you want without worrying about someone else. Would do it again but I'm bringing the ladyfriend out this year. ~by solo I mean I drove out there, picked up a stranger who needed a ride...

I spent about four hours one night by myself just wandering around in the deep Playa. Probably one of the best times there. Just walking around slow as hell admiring art, taking the whole city in, looking at the stars... it's a must do for me this year

I brought a van last year (and am bringing one this year), here are some tips: -as mentioned before put tinfoil/those windshield foil protectors/hell even towels over the windows to block the sun as much as possible. While during the day it will never be "cool" inside the van it helps drop the tempe...
