I like heading out early in the morning, before it gets too hot and I ended up way out at the last outpost. As the sun was slowly rising and it was starting warm up when I realized that it was a long w...

Awesome! How did you secure the legs to the playa?

Thanks for the info.
Looks like a great set up, Jackass. What's the foot print on your structure? 20x20?

Re: Shade structure height
Thanks guys/gals! Yeah it's not super big its a 2 x 1 system with two 10ft x 10ft shade tarps in horizontal orientation and two coming off the back at 45 degrees to make a lean-to style setup. Which now that I am speaking it I realize wont actually work unless the lean-to tarps don't reach all the ...

Re: SPARK Movie
I can give you my perspective. I have been to BM the past 4 years but am not going this year. I watched SPARK last night and I thought the parts with the artists were cool and it was interesting to see the back office workings of the 'Org, but I did feel it came off a little "ravie" and I did get th...

Re: Logistics Question
And to answer your question about when the event officially starts and ends. Typically the gates open midnight Sunday night. Last year they may have opened at 6 pm Sunday. Can't remember if that was official or not. Maybe someone else can answer that. As far as when it ends, the event is officially ...

Hi
Hey, we are trying to put together an orphan camp. We are planning on setting up a communal shade structure and kitchen. The more the merrier. Let me know if you are interested and I can give you some more info. Thanks.

Hey guys, I am driving down from Portland this year. Last year we stopped in Reno, stayed at a friends house and filled up with water there. I'm not planning on going through Reno this time and was wondering if you could fill water at Eagle's Nest even if you don't camp there. I don't mind paying a ...
