i may just be blessed by god, but my tarp has lasted me 5 years so far, and has been used outside bm too. i think the trick is to buy a good quality one and use bungee balls. they allow, well, 'bunginess' and keep all the pressure evenly spread out so the grommets don't break. peace.

i use bungee balls or rope to secure the walls both horizontaly and vertically....you could also use zip-ties, twine, rocks, ect...it kinda doesn't matter...a taut roof is more important...but angle the sides if you want real wind-resistance...xara style...... and if you're going 20x20 i'd say at le...

i normally fill up around bend (24/7), then la pine(24/7), then altures(24/7)...cedarville shuts down early...you prolly get better mileage though...there's a little daytime station between lakeview and the the turn off to cedarville ..pricey, but they were very friendly and stoked about all the art...
