Re: ?Seminar / lecture on evils of circumcision?

Bob's potato trap site is something I've read in it's entirety several times over the years.

It's a must read for anyone that's planning on building a sound shelter, big or small. Great stuff in there.

Re: mechanic question

If it's running that good and the idle speed is right where it should be, it's probably just the sound of the air passing through the carb. Check the vacuum brake booster hose and pcv line carefully, those can crack where you don't see it... other than that spray a little carb clean around the base ...

Re: Walls made of Shade Cloth?

All of these excessive calculations and theories drive me nuts. Put the structure up the way you think it should be, make it secure and see what happens. If you've given it some critical thought and used sound materials and logic, it usually stands. Several years ago a girl who camped with us brough...

Just put that thing under some shade, and you're set. It already looks like it's pretty well set up inside. Some burners dream about having something like this, comfortable off the grid dwelling/vehicle.

I wouldn't make that thing any shorter than 7.5'- 8', unless you'll be sitting low all of the time. It will be hot when standing under.

Good luck keeping things within your truck bed size...

I'd love to buy and would buy these tickets immediately as well, the problem is that they will probably never materialize.

I did enjoy stopping here, although beware the electric charge which is significantly higher than it says on the website. $20 minimum when we stopped after the burn in 2016. We went ahead and reviewed your complaint and wanted to let you know that we filed it with the proper department. https://enc...

A thermometer with the sun beating on it will read higher than actual ambient temperature. If I remember correctly I had 108 inside my trailer, in the shade, on most days.

If they were to not offer flag down pump out option, that would legitimately create a full blow catastrophe. That one in my book, would be a very necessary evil.

outside services are completely unnecessary when you're actually self reliant. They were the on the block next to us last year, I coudn't believe they were allowing people to set up shop like that and milk attendees for money blatantly... There were people looking to pick up their bikes that these g...

If you get the truck detailed in SF it will probably cost twice as much or more, than in Reno/Sparks area. That calculation could be applied to pretty much everything but the flight into SFO. The bay area (SF especially) is ridiculously expensive for damn near everything, you better show up with a w...

Yeah, the shower is a problem. No good answer for that. Plan on picking up a dish tub and using melted ice water and wash cloth for bath and then bath towel to evaporate water. And plenty of wet wipes. Shower bag, garden sprayer, watering can, on-demand water heater with small pump... Stand in a pl...

The less moving parts the better, if it can get f-ed up, it probably will. Try flying into Boise, it's even closer than SLC, and less likely to be cost inflated and overrun with so many other burners... You don't need an RV or a theme camp. Rent a spacious cargo van, make it your home. Set up your own camp area and do whatever you want!!
