Looks like the other fan is out of stock. I had good luck with so wanted to bring that one to your attention. Quiet, moves a LOT of air.

broken avatar

I was going to change my avatar, only to discover it is broken and I'm not sure how long it has been that way. It is just a little box with an "x". Any suggestions? I can't find anything that works. Tried restarting, emptying cache, etc. Does it look any different for you?
Thanks!

The phone is my pet peeve, too. Not that I never take a photograph - I usually get out a camera for about half a day, take some pics, and leave it packed up the rest of the time. But, I am seeing soooo many people who are participating with their camera and not with anyone or anything else. Selfies ...

Rechargeable Flashlight

Hey, dusty friends - Looking for that kind soul who might have picked up the rechargeable stingray light I dropped on burn night between the man and cafe. It is old, but a goody. It is about 7 inches long. May have an engraving on it. I'd be happy to pay for shipping back. Thanks!

Re: hover board experience?

Sham, I'm kind of wondering about the batteries, electronics, etc. Where my head is going with this is 20" fat tires on a hoverboard. I've ordered one of the "hovertrailers" and a set of 20x4.25 wheels/tires to put on that trailer to pull behind my fat tire bike. I'll probably have to change out the...

Has anyone taken a hoverboard out who can report on how it worked? I just saw that they make hoverchairs to use with the boards. That looks like an interesting combo.

Tatonka, that looks great! I really like that you left the rusty character alone. I looked into building an e-bike, and have some of the components and may get it finished, but then I ran across a really good deal on a complete one that I couldn't pass up. I don't have enough understanding (yet) to ...

Re: Building a temporary extension to a cargo trailer?

Hey, Papa: I have about the same size enclosed trailer. I built an air gap that travels from the ground, up through the walls, into the ceiling which is all isolated from the interior compartment of the trailer. There is also a layer of insulation. So, it's a box inside a box. Even in last year's he...

dgs ticketing minimum purchase question

In the DGS confirmation email, it states, "You may buy up to two (2) $425 tickets and up to one (1) $80 vehicle pass. In order to maximize your group’s full ticket allocation, tickets must be purchased in pairs. You are guaranteed access to these tickets for 48 hours from the start of the sale—after...

Or turn it over to leos.

Superb! This was my fifth year volunteering with various roles in the Cafe. Have I missed an announcement regarding GID water this year? I have not seen it in Jack Rabbit Speaks. I have called Gerlach GID and not gotten an answer. I'm hoping someone saw info I've missed. It's really convenient to get water right before the playa. Thanks!
