How far can or should you drive REBAR in the playa?
REBAR: Best ways to get rebar in the playa, without tearing it up? I remember just giving up after driving rebar less than a foot, in what seemed to be dust made of steel. Will 8 inch do? ( Jokes start now) 1/2 rebar a good size? (Jokes continue) 45 degree cut for the bottom end helps what amount? A...

Im in!
Veleda, I may not be the Foreman you are looking for, but I think I can be of great assistance to your group. Im a can-do guy flying-in from the eastcoast solo and your group sounds like something I would like to be a part of. I have built my own mountain loft off-grid and solar powered, so I have s...

Burner without Buddy - I bring experience & skills
Flying in from the eastcoast, and going solo this time. Past burn was with a group from Colorado and it was a blast. Leaving San Fran on Saturday in the am for Reno (and gear up), then into the desert late Sunday night. Wondering if a female, maybe 1st timer; would like a buddy to share some expense...

Paint, markers, spray paint, dyes; what works best?
The playa is extremely dry and paints and markers dry out before I can finish a project.

Many thanks for sharing!

3rd time solo fly-in male seeks female travel companion
As I fly in from the east coast (FL) my "bag of tricks" will be limited on my 3rd trip to the big burn in the playa. So I put myself out there to the community to share my experience and meet new souls for the event 2010. I built a off-grid solar DC powered mountain loft in NC by myself, so I have s...

Estonian American @ BRC
Having dog shit in Tallinn's oldest ( and europe's) Pharmacy as a cure for a mineral deficiency, makes Estonians a leader in forward thinking like Skype. Being from a very small country as well helps to foster an ability do more with less. And they drink with the best of them. Good people to have ar...
