Removing parking pass sticker from windshield

Does anyone have any tips on how to remove the parking pass from the inside of one's windshield? It is seriously glued on there. My windshield is brand new and I would rather not scratch it with abrasive materials. Thanks.

Re: Playa Conditions 2014

As perverse as it may sound, I really do hope we have a massive dust storm this year. I freakin' LOVE the sound, ambiance, natural drama and mystery of a major white out. Also, they're very socially leveling: nothing puts different types/ranks/categories of people all on the same level as a powerful...

Re: Playa Dreams & Nightmares

I have this recurrent nightmare where I arrive on the playa, look in the trunk of my car and, to my horror, instead of my usual Sparkle Pony essentials (makeup, glitter, blinky cowboy hat, orange feather boa, E, mylar hot pants, bead necklaces and gold cowboy boots) I find instead a lot of crap like...

Birmingham sucks?

I've been hearing a lot of people recently talking about how Birmingham sucks. I don't get it. It's not such a bad place. They have nice buildings there. Some restaurants. I like their railroads. It has been nicknamed, "The Magic City." You like magic don't you? Everybody does. I think of ...

Re: I crowd-sourced a video at Burning Man this year

. . . I was not planning to go this year for "family reasons" and my resolve cracked some time on Thursday afternoon after several days of live-stream on my monitor at work and a flurry of tickets wanted/available notices on a mailing list. I *barely* managed to get hold of a ticket on Th...

My Windshield Says - HELP!

I'm a bit embarrassed that I could have been so uninformed, but there have been times when I have run my windshield wipers while I was inside my car during a dust storm on The Playa. Bad move. Now my windshield is scratched. The scratched area is in the shape of the sweep of my wiper blades. Y...

Hi. Are you shy? Do you have a hard time walking into a roomful of complete strangers and striking up a conversation? Does the idea of walking out of your tent in a crazy outfit strike terror into your heart? Cool, ok, you can work with that. . . . HUGS! Hey Brody, this is one of the BEST things I'...

I think that the Bliss Dance sculpture was quite the tour de force of exacting engineering and aesthetic beauty. It really was quite awesome and such a treat. I would LOVE it if the artist would someday grace the playa with an equally impressive and lovingly rendered sculpture of a naked man.

. . . I don't know, the whole idea of a group of people "theoretically" cooking their food on playa, does sound like a recipe for food poisoning. Especially if they were "theoretically" keeping their meat cold, too. I can't tell you how many times I've heard of people getting th...

Re: USA vs One Eyed Dick

The point of this is let everyone know that if you believe you are right, stand up and say so. If you allow law enforcement to abuse your civil rights, you will only get what you deserve. Perhaps someday the Federal Judges in Reno will get tired of BS cases in front of them and say something to the...

This has always been something I've been interested in - ever since I was a kid. To this day I still take something with a nice smell, a lotion, perfume, something along that line. For me I've discovered that if I use that one smell on a special trip - when I come home and use it, it instantly trig...
