Re: Project: Blitter Bike
The girl and I wandered the playa every single night.. in front of the man.. in back of the man.. 2 to 10.. 10 to 2.. and sadly did not see it ONE SINGLE TIME no matter how hard we looked!!    Will there be a next year? And yet you seemed to be everywhere! I wanted to geek out ...

Re: The 2,240 LED bodysuit v2.0
Ok ok.. in all geek-dom fairness, here are some specs on the final product. Basically, I ended up using my custom 2x3" PCBs for both the top and bottom and having custom 1/16" white plexiglass panels CNC cut to sandwich over the top to help diffuse and protect the LEDs. I used 4mm nylon bolts to se...

Re: Monkey Hut question
I have to say -- no offense to Love's Monkey hut, but the design where you make the spine out of multiple sections connected via those wedged in duct tape ends is terrible. We used it last year and the center spine kept coming out of the T and X connectors and falling on our heads. We had to tape t...

Re: Monkey Hut question
Cool! I'm building a love monkey aerodrome thing too. So far so good: I just got the 10x20 silver tarp, bungie balls, t-connector, and x-connector and have done some of the pre-assembly. I'm buying the 10' foot sections of PVC when I get to San Francisco. I discovered Home Depot sells 2 foot steel ...

Re: HELP! RGB LED ribbon controller advice
It sounds to me like you are the one who broke the controller. That sound and that smell is the smell of you frying your electronics. It's toast. Now, the reason for that is interesting. I'm assuming this is the unit your talking about? http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/rgb-controllers/rgb-dc9...

That's why I said "(well—for me)". :) Perhaps you glossed over that? Dubstep is totally fine for those who love it. I love diversity and would never ask that Dub Step be removed from the burn. Goodness no! I'm just mearly stating what I like, and reaching out to see if others out there who like the...

A report from the front lines.... Folks, I used to be one of "those" people. I admit it. I wore the beads and the pacifiers and waved the glowsticks around like a fucking douchebag. And then I got out of high school... but I still keep in contact with many of my "rave" buddies. And Burning Man is o...

Greetings, I'm half of the duo Ohm Wrecker, and we are starting to compile our sets for the burn this year! We produce midtempo glitch, drumstep, moombahton, and pretty much any type of west coast sexy bass music! We would love to play on your art car! (Art car sets are always the most fun) You can...

Still a lineup of sorts would be kinda cool anyways. Is there a central place ...

Do you need gifs? Because I have lots. Also, and what's the estimated max current load for this thing? Or the average? What kind...
