Hey all humons, I'm looking for a ride from Reno to BRC on Thursday, 8/21. I have an early entry pass and would be willing to go in whenever's savvy. Happy to split costs for gas and vehicle, etc. FYI I'm one of the coordinators of a camp called Syncytium out of Ann Arbor, Mi and am pretty active in...

Hey wonderful burner-humons!!?! It is your friendly neighborhood Miko here, wheeler and dealer of the Syncytium Tribe out of Michigan and elsewhere around the country and world :) Syncytium is building a pretty large (~6000 sq.ft.) maze this year on-playa and we're looking to store it in reno after ...

iguanajan -- yo man. Haha -- glad that you found this thread. Sounds as though there's some small amount of redemption for you here. Anyway... Indeed!! I'll shoot you an email shortly. Right now we're at a grand total of two (maybe three), four if I can dig up the name/email of a guy from Philly who...

Jkisha -- understood. I'm a Detroit Armenian myself, and my family's been in the country for a 100 years as of 2012. Some would consider me more of an American than an Armenian, but my blood and roots run deep back to the Caucusus, and many of us still identify strongly with that heritage. Anyway, n...

Wait, you're going to (or have been to) Burning Man? You know there are loving and open-minded people there who don't propagate ridiculous stereotypes and claim that they're just testing to see whether they hold up, right?

Stereotyping, discrimination, whatever you want to call it -- it's racism.

You do know that there are a lot of gay people at Burning Man, right? Wow -- that's an unwelcome bit of racism there. Thanks, I guess? Probably not so much room for that on eplaya. Actually the first time in my 28 years that I've ever been discriminated against based on my ethnicity, and it comes o...

Sooooo -- with all of the chaos in planning and such this year Syncytium, which has been out on the Playa since 2010, is reorganizing heavily and trying some new and arbitrary things. Firstly we're building a 20,000 sq-ft wooden maze complete with swinging doors and crow's nests and other awesome ti...

Goz -- that would be a beautiful contribution man, thanks! If you'd be willing to ship it I can provide you with an address and reimburse you for the cost of shipping. Otherwise shouldn't be an issue if you could drop it off on the playa. Your call... I'm thinking we should establish a non-profit to...

Hey Everyone, We're putting together an art project called "The Outerweb", basically a working internet cafe that only allows you to access sites within the cafe itself, all of which will either be absurd, bizarre, poignant, or beautiful. This is going to be an on-going project, and will revisit the...

Zachass,

Awesome, man. Consider the Stroh's toted. I'll see you on Tuesday at Bell Camp.

FYI -- I'm going to be camping at Transmorphagon (3:00 and Esplanade) and then hanging out at Maze Camp (8:30 and Outer Ring) pretty often. Stop by and say hi whenever you'd like.

See you on the playa!

Hey man,

Not sure if you've resolved this or not but I'd be happy to buy and haul a 6-pack of Stroh's for you out to the playa. Let me know if you're interested.

Cheers,
Miko
