I'll be doing airbrush neon temporary tattoos, by request. Kind of like henna, but with UV reactive colors that last several days.

I was planning on getting some (UV) tattoo work done this weekend. It sounds like I should wait until after the event.

Mutant Vehicle artists can't apply for early entry.

I would like to be able to get on the playa a couple days early to work my ass off.

Trailer an art car to Flipside From SF?

I'm looking for someone to trailer my mutant vehicle, which is a golf cart base on a nice new trailer, to Flipside in Austin from the Bay Area. I'll help out substantially with your gas money. Just, you know, if you're going that way anyway.

Interested? Drop me a line!

Thanks.

I also have a mobile venue for video artists. If any VJs would like to mix live in my car, which will have large screens and one HD projector, that would be awesome. Also, if anyone has a DVD or two (not HD) that they'd like to see played, I can do that as well. You could send me the DVD, which I co...

Shirts

Hey there. I saw your post about painting shirts and bodies. I do airbrushing, although all stencil stuff. I mainly do temporary tattoos, with UV ink. Maybe we could team up with some stencils, some spray paint, some airbrush, and my artcar.

You might want to look for a tow dolly, which is just a two wheeled trailer that lifts up the front of the vehicle onto it. They're much less expensive, easier to store, and might even handle better.

Sure is cool what they can do with a green room and a bunch of computers. There's some cool stuff on Wired about how they made it. Why shoot anything on location any more?

I've been looking at the Power Master too. Has anyone tried them out and seen how loud they are compared to the Hondas? Do they produce less even or clean power than the Hondas? Is it only the larger generators that are really noisy? I want one to put on an artcar.
Thanks.

I like an oil projector, and inexpensive halogen type one with an extension cord that has had a dimmer switch spliced in to it. That way you can adjust brightness (up to very bright) and have interesting moving colors. The oil projectors cost about $50, but make sure you get the kind that can be dim...

Anyone have any suggestions for housing a video projector to protect it from dust? What about a laptop?
