Re: Does Radical Inclusion equal Racial Inclusion?

There's also the need to be in a demographic where you can afford the time off of work and all of the various costs. So if you're part of a demographic where unemployment is higher, under-employment is higher, wages are less, more likely to have family members who have less and need help, more like...

Liability Insurance for your Camp, Art, or Mutant Vehicle

**I am not an attorney and this is not legal advice!** Every year I see multiple posts and receive multiple messages regarding liability insurance for Burning Man. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.. Compared to litigation it's pennies and when I drove a rickety...

Re: Manish Arora appropriating art for his fashion show.

Ok maybe the sarcasm wasn't that obvious. The whole "he/they/she is a cool person" rhetoric has been used as a defense for all kinds of shitty and un-burnery behavior for years and years. No one said big conspiracy. But whether or not the lady has a good excuse the whole thing is yet another glaring...

Re: Fuel Question

I asked so I could *maybe* give you better advice. Now I know you have no clue as to how things work out there. Alright first-timer, in years past there was a place called HELL STATION. It's the BRC Fuel Depot, its where a lot of the burners with the big generators and mutant vehicles and flame thro...

^^ those comments on the 'official' response are as usual right on Plot thickens? Yeah like those microwavable oatmeal packets, but not the ones with the delicious little fake strawberries in it, more like the 'cinnamon and spice' ones that taste like the dust bunnies from underneath grandmas couch....

Still curious how they plan to pull that off with only 3 pickup trucks. Playa magic?

Also what about leaving something like that on the boards to serve as "what not to do" for future Playa Entrepreneurs?

My question is, how are you getting all your gear to/from the playa with only three pickup trucks?

Other than that your shitty plug and play camp looks great.

Re: Biggest MOOP in the history of Burning Man

I think there is some misguided expectation that art cars and mutant vehicles are built specifically for the public to climb on and ride. There is a finesse and tact to working your way onto an MV. The only public part of these privately owned vehicles is to look at and be entertained by the awesom...

Full disclosure: I hate the 747. As someone who has worked their ass of to bring different art projects to the playa and I consider myself radically inclusive, I’m still entitled to my opinion that this is a lame as shit, overly ostentatious display of wealth. “Look what kind of logistics we can pul...

Night at the climb in

This is the piece that makes me wish I went the most this year. All the expensive, techy over engineered shit with a million addressable LED’s and lasers is cool but a dangerous AF stack of skewered cars is fucking art. Did any eplayans climb it before it was closed down? Plz share stories or pics a...
