Holy Shit

Haven't been on this board for almost a year. Now I remember why. I hope your dumb asses are not busted at the burn with swat teams in camo carrying ak-s falling in from helicopters when your out there dancing. Hope your girlfriend isn't kicked in the stomach by 5 grown cops. Hope all your damn high...

We saw tons of people on the side of the road, within visible distance of one another. Never thought pull over into the soft side, our car was fully packed with two bikes precariously strapped on top. Didn't think there was anything we could do but get stuck... I did feel guilty a couple of times, r...

Last night one of many burning man dreams: packing up to leave the playa, sweeping up a strange structure/shelter which we'd all stayed in for the week. Noticed a big pile of poop and thought, "No way I'M cleaning that up." Almost done when it starts to pour rain, an amazing beautiful cleansing rain...

would be nice to start the tradition that virgins are "lucky" even if they don't identify themselves overtly. Maybe just a notice in the WWW and maybe the Gazette and the radio stations might be enough.

I think that is very sweet. "hear yea, hear yea, there are virgins amongst us!"

Still, I would hate to see someone that desparately wanted to go suddenly find that they can and miss out only because the low cost tickets were gone. But would it really be a surprise? In my explanation of what Burning Man is, I always include the rising ticket prices. It comes with the territory,...

Captain, that's not elitist, that's honest. I didn't used to be able to provide to lots of people at the burn. I was broke and broken in some ways but the spirit of self-preservation soon evolved to giving. This required a general uplift in my daily existence (and subsistence!). I didn't even want t...

Geekster, after reading your "blurb" I have to admit it is a beautiful idea, but I still think it's better on paper than actually carried out. All of this sounds freaky to me. Bring out your virgins, special identifying markers, what the? I hope this gives a couple people that have suddenly been able to go that might not be able to afford it to attend. I love this idea. Yup, my boyfriend at the time got it too, a few days after taking care of me. Try small soft towels heated in the microwave or boiled in water as compresses on the area as well, I couldn't make it without those. Yup, I got this on my ankle from a brown recluse bite infected with Staph which is always on your skin.
