You and me both, Mr. Flintstone. How was your experience? Any memories that really stand out? Any favourite things?

Surely a cup with a lid is essential on the Playa. Liquid spills are MOOP too.

5% of the human population are jerks. Ergo, 5% of BRC are jerks. The jerks are generally louder than anyone else.

2010 was my first Burn, and may I say that not all us newbies are total asshats. I spent a hell of a long time on MOOP patrol, helping my camp, gifting good swag that people really seemed to love, volunteering with the Temple Guardians, and generally participating in a positive way. Within any commu...
Or, instead of pointing the light straight ahead.. tilt it to point straight down to the ground in front of you. This way you don't blind oncoming traffic, and it illuminates more of you and the ground.. increasing your overall illuminated profile.
This. A light on the ...

Drugs in misters never occurred to me. I was offering mistings to hot looking passers by (hot, not HOTT). I don't think I will be doing so in future, as I'd hate to even cause raised suspicions. Never understood people who waste their stash on randomers. I can kind of get my head around why someone ...

2010 was my first year, and I was mooping pretty much every time I stood outside. One day, I spent a couple of hours walking up and down 4:30 between the Esplanade and Athens picking up endless cigarette ends and bits of trash. There was a broken glass bottle, shards of glass everywhere. It took me ...

I was unlit once at night. I was working a Temple Guardian shift with my friend, and were on the 6pm till 9pm shift. We left camp excited and happy and in a whirlwind of joy and happy. When we were done, we walked back to camp dark, afraid, and feeling pretty darn stupid. Lesson: ALWAYS carry lights...

I'd be happy to help out. If you wake up in the middle of the night and remember the name of the town, or indeed any kind of contact information (which will probably be a better thing to remember) then let me know. It doesn't seem that many UK peeps attend the Burn. I've joined both the South-West a...

Belper is in Derby, which is about 100 miles from me, but it's still a lot closer than my American burner friends!

It would be great to talk with fellow Brits who have a similar outlook on life and on Burning Man. Someone who doesn't just see it as a big rave in the desert.

First Timer from Cheltenham, UK

Hi guys & gals (and everything in between) I got back home yesterday from my first Burn, and it absolutely changed my life in so many ways. Adjusting to Defaultia is harder than I thought. Anyway, I live in Cheltenham, UK, and I'd love to get in touch with other local Burners to chat with. Or, in fa...
