Why do elephants paint their toenails red?
To hide in cherry trees.
Have you ever seen an elephant in a cherry tree?
Works pretty well, doesn't it!

Re: your stupid joke here
A man sits down at a bar and orders a drink. As he's waiting he hears a small voice, "Nice shirt." He looks around, but doesn't see anyone else aside from the tender at the far end of the bar. "Great tie," The voice says again. Confused the man continues to look around. "Wow, you're handsome," the l...

Re: Ticket information announced.....
I don't think DGS should out number main sale tickets. Agreed. As someone who can only reasonably make it back Home every few years (damn default responsibilities), I'm not able to truly involve with any one group that fall under DGS and am stuck with the rest of the masses hovering over our mouse ...

How many Hipster Burners does it take to screw in a light bulb? It's a pretty obscure number, you probably wouldn't get it... Damn Asherbeez, welcome back. Longtime no see. from 2011?? Hey! Re: Birthday on the Playa?
My birthday tends to fall while I'm on the Playa. Last trip home, an announcement was made at a neighboring camp of Aussies that it was my birthday. I was promptly bent over an art car, and received the appropriate number of spanks from all the members of said camp. So there's that, if it's your thi...

Looking at your build, I'd have to second the smaller spacing between ribs. The other bit that I've had great success with is drawing the tarp as tight as possible around the frame. This helps and billowing of the tarp in the wind and also acts as a secondary support for the structure. Also consider...

Fricking AWESOME. I would kill to see that thing go up at night. I've been spoiled living close enough for the last few years to Cape Canaveral and seeing shuttle launches in person. Nothing short of mindblowingly spectacular. Right!? Just watching the take off was pretty amazing but then having th...

I came across this video today of a group that put a "homemade" rocket into space. It was launched from our very own black rock and flew 121,000' into the sky. The video is a bit long but the views of the BR are pretty amazing! Here's the...
