Tarot enthusiasts

Hi folks, I'm looking for burners who are enthusiastic about Tarot. I first was introduced to this intriguing tool by a campmate, and have subsequently learned so much about myself and the world and its wisdom by using it. I've also noticed its popularity among other burners, too, and have learned m...

Re: The Individual Sale has started!

i just got mine, i first entered my passcode at 12:00:34, never got bumped, and then got to thru at 1:34 PM (what's with the 34's?!). Piece of cake once I got in... I think it's funny that they put all the "fine print" stuff, as if anyone is going to spend any of their precious 15 minutes to read it...

Re: Anyone from eastern WA, northern Idaho?

FYI: we're having a local get-together in Richland tonite at 7pm, a "Friday Fiasco"...
and at some point between now and Oct 13 the KPR Burners (tri-cities) will be restoring Pins to bring to Seacompression, as well as helping me make marzipan shaped like the man.

Re: Anyone from eastern WA, northern Idaho?

Hi cupcakecrush! We in tri-cities managed to convince three new people to come to the burn, I'm not sure if they are converts yet but I'd guess yes! Another local brought his wife and she is fully committed to next year now! Needless to say we are going to have a mini decom between the 8-12 burners ...

Re: undecided to perform: loop-pedal-improv, jawharp/drone/p

Crypto: i appreciate you pointing that out, though I do primarily use the European variety (not to mention makers... I want to get more from the Hungarian Zóltan Szilágyi... that man is quite talented). I have some from India (Morchang/Morsing), as well as a Vietnamese variety (Dan Moi). The man fro...

undecided to perform: loop-pedal-improv, jawharp/drone/poems

hi folks, i have been making music in my bedroom for some time, & recently started to perform in public (first time last month, at Critical Massive!)... yet i'm undecided whether i want to do this on the playa this year! i'm hesitant to blab about myself like some of these other "let me DJ dubstep a...

Re: Critical Massive, the Seattle Regional Burn, July 16-22

nobody is posting how excited they are, because they are actually busy building cloud-forts and pinboards, planning the silent headphone dance night, tuning ukeleles, infusing vodka with new mexico chilis, spooling some fuschia yarn to mark their global travels on the seattle regional's effigy... .....

Re: Anyone from eastern WA, northern Idaho?

(blush... i blundered and posted a prohibited message mentioning fundraising, oops!) I'm quoting an edited version of the original, to be historical; but admittedly the message is now out-of-date... Nevertheless, still, us Eastie's must unite! Pretty much anyone who wants to visit Tri-Cities is welc...

Re: Anyone from eastern WA, northern Idaho?

There are a few of us in Tri-cities, actually! We're trying to get together somewhat regularly, at a Richland coffee joint, Roasters. We had a (10-person) decom in Rock's backyard two weeks ago, complete with hot-pepper-liquor, fire-spinning, absinthe, and we stood around a flaming stove for warmth....

... It is however, also creating magic. Depends. ... ... people are just influences and inspiration to unlock (love).... One things I have learned at Bman is to not LAG on getting contact info unless you are really just into momentary connections... thank you, this is wonderful, RedHeaven! i haven'...

Re: Be a part of the quest chain! we need other camps to hel

Not one person showed up for a quest, but neither did anyone from quest chain beforehand. We had a bunch of buttons we were going to give as a token to prove they'd done their quest. We ended up making people taste the rainbow for the buttons. We had five different colors of skittles vodka, and the...

Re: Some Volunteers at the Center Camp Cafe shouldn't volunt

firstly, i had a splendid man burn primarily because my friend George brought me along with her group of friends who were almost entirely cafe volunteers (&workers)... they were very delightful people. ("Knuck Clan!") but as we were waiting for the group to gather, i was sitting beside the coffee co...

Re: "Missed Connections" = "Get in Your Pants"

some of us come to the playa and don't have sex at all (and don't do drugs at all), and have our lives changed by other persons. a nearby message thread asks if it breaks the magic to try to find a "missed connection" on facebook. I struggle to answer that question myself. but for the most part, the...

Re: Is facebook killing the magic of BM?

i'm on the fence about this too: last year i had a wonderful connection with someone; i had given my contact info to him but neglected to get his. (I also neglected to take a picture of us together!) I waited all year, confused and forlorn, and tried to locate him on facebook but only knew his gener...
