I'm in my second year at a university (Nursing major), and a lane server (For those who don't know, it's like a waitress/waiter with more responsibilities ie. setting bowling pins back up) at an AMF bowling alley. Currently trying to get another job, hopefully a WAH job because I currently do not ha...

Yeah, unfortunately for me, I'm going to have to probably fly as well. I'm looking for a job so hopefully I can start saving soon. I haven't been to BM yet but I think that by protecting my money, I would rather save a lot for the trip rather than not have enough.

Unfortunately, if it looks and smells good...possibly. Dx Most of the crowd is good-natured...I hope?

Yes, while that does suck that they can't set up their bake sale for free, I don't see why they can't just pay the fee and go set back up 'cause everyone else at that festival had to pay.

You should give us cupcakes and a pat on the back for every good we do? :D

...or snark us 'till we know better. Yep. (I know better than to ask for something like the above statement) :(

Hmm, with the couple thing, I think maybe down the road if I get a boyfriend by then, I'll invite him to come with me, just to feel safer to have someone I know come along, but yes, after reading the replies here, if I am prepared and am ready-minded, I'll do fine if I end up going at it alone. It f...

I've done it twice, it was amazing. For me it was complete freedom. I would imagine there's a lot more drama associated with bringing real life friends/significant others there. That's what I would assume, too, but it gives me confidence to read that some go by themselves. I do feel it's more liber...

I've been thinking about dressing up as Winnie the Pooh ('Cause I like giving hugs and I like honey), or Pikachu (Because Pikachu is still considered the shit even though he should've been extinct by now).

Zombies are cool, though.

Speaking of fear, I myself am personally afraid of what is to come at BM 2011, because I've never been. Has there been those who have been to BM without accompanyment? I completely understand that going with a group is a lot more fun and enthralling, but I wonder if there have been people who go by ...

Call me Miki, I'm a total noob about BM and eplaya (I've introduced myself in the Intro thread as well), but I've been reading the forums and hopefully get my first burn next year. Either way, I hope to make friends here and prepare for what lies ahead. I am 19, and it's been a little over a year si...

I actually wasn't planning on drinking at all (I don't drink often, anyway), just referring to it to tell you my age range :P

I would definitely have more fun sober, anyway

I will turn 20 when 2011 comes around. And yeah, I was referring to underage drinking :P

I have class soon, but I was reading about the event and the FAQs and wow my heart started racing. I am already excited!

Yeah, school may be an issue for me, but I guess we'll see how it goes.

Thank you for the tip, theCryptofishist. If I were to attend next year's event, I would still be legally underage (dammit, lol). But that'll give me enough time to, as you say, "lurk" (Though I myself am bold and would rather jump into the fiery pits of expressing myself and my independence). I am f...

Something Different

I was browsing the net and somehow came to this forum...I have NEVER seen anything like this. It immediately piqued my interests, and so here I am, a fish out of water, a complete noob (Be nice, please?). I'll start reading up and learning more about this after I take an exam and sleep (I've been up...
