FYI The ticket I purchased through STEP back in May just arrived in the mail*, so the system worked from start to finish. Hoping all of my STEP brothers and sisters get a ticket.

* There was no advance warning email alert, it just suddenly arrived via USPS.

Just got a STEP ticket - my timestamp was 12:00:22.

Good luck everyone!

Pickle Joint is thrilled to be back in Center Camp, on the inner circle around the back of the cafe (Inner Circle at 7o'clock). We're pretty sure this is our 11th year as this camp and 15th year on playa. The first decade is kind of a blur.

Pickle Joint will be in Center Camp - Inner Circle at 7:45 (near Arctica we think).
This is our 10th year as a camp, the aluminum (?) anniversary. We plan to get extremely festive. Come on by!

PICKLE JOINT has 4 tickets out of 14 members. This will be our 10th year as a camp, and the 15th year for several of our campers. We consider Burning Man to be a vocation, a lifestyle, the love of our lives. At this point, nothing will stop us from attending and building the camp. As anyone who has ...

Just won 1 $320 ticket! A big thanks to all of the mods and posters on this board for a fascinating discussion these past weeks, and best of luck to everyone still waiting.

Now where do I sign up for the Atomic Fireball lottery?

Cool project for people who want that sort of thing, but for me, getting liberated from my devices for a week is worth the entire ticket price.

Lamplighters' Sangria Soiree and Bloody Mary Brunch of course. :) -Badger The past several years we have been lucky enough to use the brine leftover from Lamplighters' Bloody Mary preparation and infuse it into our Pickle-tinis. A richer, more delicious brine you have never tasted! It looks like we...

Everyone can add themselves to it—just click on it to add a point. Hope this helps! I'm conti...

Thanks Ping, that is amazing!

PICKLE JOINT is in Center Camp at 6 o'clock.

And now for the five week sprint...

it's like waiting for election results

we should put some money on it. i say today between 4:30 and 8, in waves

I pushed through a wall of mind-frying anxiety over it last week and have arrived at a placid lake of inner calm. All this excitement, tension, hope, etc waiting for placement is a part of the ride... Burning Man is already fully underway. Also, this is pretty much the last moment before the train t...

the cutoff to enter events in the book was july 1, but you can still post events in the online calendar, to which there are links on the bm homepage. i think your best bet is to make some really good signs and post them by your camp announcing times for any group workouts, or just post the WOD itsel...

Given that I poached the map URL before it was actually publicly linked... Placement seems imminent. Have to have a Map before you give people addresses! nice work on the map, bigbluedoggy! now why don't you be a good lil doggy and poach the placement list! i've tried every conceivable variation on...
When I received the first email with our potential placement in camp I got goosebumps. I'm so excited I am just all wiggly.
have you been placed tonight?!? is it starting??? don't tease me!

thanks zorro. we've found the guide to be insanely valuable for getting bodies into the camp. the first time we tried it, we were blown away by the turnout for even the most rudimentary entry. getting swept up in one's attempts to control any outcome at burning man is always hilarious. i will count ...

Yes you are correct, trying to figure out if I made it into the 960.

We were a couple days late getting our events in. They're all approved/moderated as of today, but it looks like more than a thousand events are already listed (though some are repeats). Does anyone remember if they post a "print edition closed" notice when it's full? Knowing whether 300 people are g...
