Rites of Sah-Sage

Moonrise's Solar Cooking idea could be mingled with RITES OF SAH-SAGE theme ... swap bacon for Chicago Polish Sausage - quartered, cooked under lenses, and maybe branded with "Terms of Sah-sage"... Like OINK, GLUT, PORKSTICK, or The Man knows what-all you'd come up with that would look hilarious bei...

1. I like the dynamic of the blinky burny glowy and the more darker spaces. You can see the stars on the back streets. Going from the dark to the light and back to the dark is a great feeling. Just staying up in the light gets kind of tiring and not as interesting IMO. 2. I like how the back street...

The bike thing

Savannah - Hakama are traditional Japanese pants used in sword training. VERY loose and generally light. They are tied at the waist using a formal knot, and have details that rise up the small of the back above the beltline. Very beautiful, very comfortable. The "Gi" is a tied shirt, worn tucked int...

How ya'll doin'? St Louis virgin burner on my way in 2011

I'd heard rumors, but the 6 years of marriage was a wall. The Man found me in 2009 - as the festival was happening I was separating and the intrigue grew and research began. In 2010 I couldn't rush attendance, but 2011 will be my calling. I'm coming in solo, and well prepared. I'm an old Rainbow Fes...

Great Map of the area

I hadn't seen that map before - and it is a huge help in understanding the layout. I assume all the purple spots are reserved areas? Considering that setting up for me is parking my car... I'll have lots of time early in the week to socialize, play, add/remove costume elements, and decorate my gear....

THANKS

...just the stuff I was looking for!! Thanks guys! As for me it's just a preference issue. I do solo backpacking trips a lot, and have lived in the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico. The winds are my biggest concern at BM. From what I've seen though, it looks like I could just about sleep almost any...

Walk-In Camping done SOLO - Whats it like?

So I'm a virgin AND I'm coming in solo. No worries on the self-reliant thing as I am very well versed on wilderness camping, gear, best practices, yada yada... In my research I noticed the Walk-In camping area... I'm intrigued but have noticed that it receives precious little review in this forum - ...
