Re: STEP Tickets - WillCall & Drop outs - Please help

Uhhhh how, exactly, did she become eligible for FOUR tickets through STEP?? I'm pretty sure we all know the answer to that, but... explain it to us. Given that she obviously scammed the system... TWICE .... I would, of course, say she should refuse all four so that people who did the right thing can...

Re: Tickets Offered yet to anyone in STEP line?

There are a few people on the BM Facebook page that said they've gotten them.

Re: has anyone received the STEP participation Email?

Umm..... I don't think anyone is being that melodramatic, but thanks for the snark and gigantic font. No one would have pieced it together that you were being a jerk without it. Kudos to you!

Re: Cancelled Open Ticket Sale.

I've been pretty vocal about how the initial "lottery" idea was a complete cluster and how long the apology took. BUT now.... I think we all (myself included) have to cut the BMORG some slack. I think pulling the sale and distributing through theme camps was the only real solution at this point. Goi...

Re: has anyone received the STEP participation Email?

Its a very valid question. Are emails going out ahead of the 29th or will the be sent all at once as soon as its opened? There IS a reason I ask. My rejection email came a full day and a half after others received theirs. Will I have to wait until March 2nd to register because it takes so long to se...

Re: Official "Not Awarded Tix" Thread

I still haven't even gotten my 'you got screwed' letter. So what does that mean? Does that mean they removed perfectly legit entries (that only requested ONE ticket) thinking they were duplicates?! Seriously, I'm certain there were few to no other registrants from this conservative Minnesota town. G...

Re: Official "Awarded Tickets" Thread

[quote="drutter"][quote="dingokiller"]Even though this is a computerized process, I doubt they will issue tickets outside of business hours as if anything went wrong you would need to have people working to resolve it. Looks like tickets are being drawn from around 9am - 5pm, you have 4 hours before...

Re: Official "Awarded Tickets" Thread

[quote="neverfallindown"]Or maybe I'm just someone who got two tickets through the lotto and have no problem with people being entrepreneurial. This is my first burn, and I want to understand why people hate scalpers so much, half this thread is people complaining about scalpers or the tickets syste...

Re: Clumsy ‘solution’ to non existent problem?

[quote="clerkkent"]By establishing below market pricing out the gate, you fostered an environment for profit takers to intervene (yep, capitalism and free markets- like it or not). Instead of having 8,000 tickets at the $210 level, then 8,000 tickets at the $240 level, then 8,000 tickets at the $280...

Lottery will only make the "problem" worse.

Maybe this has been posted already, and I've just missed it. Hasn't it dawned on the powers-that-be that this lottery idea would only make the "ticket scarcity" problem worse?? Here's an example: Last year, I logged in and bought tickets for both me and my friend/travel-companion. A third friend com...
