Re: Exodus 2011
We got up and started packing at 3:30am on Monday, left the site at 5am, and hit pavement at about 8:30am. Hit Reno at noon for a feast at Black Bear Diner which was amazing!

We had a good experience overall with the swamp cooler however our yurt was huge (6ft x 8ft sides) so the volume...

Breathing easier now, prolly the last post as it's off on the first leg of my adventure. Cheers all, thanks to everyone on this...

Re: One Item for BM a Day
Yesterday I felt like I got somewhere! Shipped 50 lbs of gear to our friends in CA, finished attaching fur to coat, missing 12v batteries showed up in mail and are now charged to power bike light system. Today I lay out clothes and carry-on gear. Tomorrow I prepare for a wedding in NH which will tak...

Re: Glowies, Blinkies, UVies & Other Illuminations
Thanks BBadger, that is very helpful! I've ordered two PS-1250's and a PS-1270 from Power-Sonic (and a sweet smart charger) so I'm thinking that should be good to go. Hardest part now is tracking the package and hoping it gets here by next Wednesday when I need to ship the bulk of my gear to the lef...

Re: Glowies, Blinkies, UVies & Other Illuminations
Hello all, Newb here and just wanted to chime in on my first EL-Wire experience. I wanted to build a cool blink/light system for my bike and decided to go with a variable sequencer and 7-10 strands of EL-Wire. After lots of search and solo deliberation I went for equipment from http://www.coolight.c...

Re: Eureka's Equinox 6 or Cabela's Alaskan Guide tent?
Just picked up the Eureka Equinox 6 yesterday after a lengthy conversation with the fine folks at Hilton's Tent City in Boston. Save quite a few $$ vs. the Cabela's but it's probably not quite as awesome, the main difference being the lack of large vestibule that the Alaskan Guide has. Anyway, tent ...
