Also any suggestions on waterproofing tent - Someone said to soak in Lysol. What is that and where do you get it?

Thanks for all the useful advice. It looks like I may buy hear as I fly United with heaps of luggage allowance. However was looking at small 2 man tent with fibreglass poles and was tolf they would snap in big wind - but I wonder if there is some protection from being in a camp - the windproof ones ...
