Re: Ideal materials for metal/conduit shade structure
Thanks for the input guys. I was hoping I could get away with out guylines, but it's looking like the safe bet is to add some. I had been wonder what would be better if I did decide to go with them, rope or ratchet straps. I think I will go with the rope, per Bob's advice. I have tried googling the ...

Re: Ideal materials for metal/conduit shade structure
Well, crap. The past 2 years I have used a 10x10 REI alcove shade tent that I have secured to the playa by pounding into the playa 3' rebar half way and securing the rebar to the legs of the structure with saran wrap/duct tape. No guys lines. It has worked no problem. This year I have added a 10x10 ...

Re: One Item for BM a Day
Finished lighting half my full length faux fur coat with LEDS. (battery operated Christmas lights actually) My electrical skill are non existent, and I found a great deal on them. I wasn't too concerned with perfect straight lines, because they look so much better twinkling, so I'll leave them on o...

Re: oven bags
I would think put the food in the bags and freeze them before you leave. Then put some blocks of ice in a good cooler and let the meals defrost over the week. Replace the blocks a couple times during the week and you should be good til the end. I think I'm going to try this next year.

I thought it was pretty funny. They would only let people on that were ready to "talk business".

My friend is good friends with her boyfriend and just told me the news. Very sad indeed.

Always too much dub step. It sooths the soul every time I hear an actual instrument being played. Noticed tons of darkwads, but not as many leo's as last year.

Re: MOOP and the Future of the Burn.
I wonder how many people that buy tickets have any clue that there even ARE principles? I know for sure many (If not most) don't even bother to read the first timer's guide/survival guide. Maybe their should be a test that needs to be taken and passed in order to even get into the cue to buy ticket...

Re: Yeah, You! No Hovering in the Porta Potty!!
I support this post. It sucks when people piss on the seat. I mean, someone doesn't want to sit on the "dirty" port=o=potty seat, so they hover and pee all over it. The reality is they're the ones making it gross. I agree that if everyone respected the port-o-potty we would all have a much better ex...
