I think he posted them.
So much...

Hey Patsh, how are things? Going this year? We are doing the annual prepping for the trip, will be at 3:30 and J again this year. Trilo and Lucky420 will be close to that area as well. Hi mgb! Not this year. likely not next year, but saving up for '28. I'll miss you all in the meanwhile! Sounds lik...

*pokes head out from under NEB* Happy 40th Burning Man Anniversary to all of our burner friends near and far. It seems that there are a lot of empty chairs around, and dusty glasses sitting on the Bar at this point, but the fond memories linger on! Cheers to all of you! Hi bvb! Cheers indeed, and t...

I still have it… it’s been parked under a tarp for ten years… it’ll take a LOT of repair and refitting and general dry-dock work…
But if I’m coming, so is it.

WooHooo!

Here’s a ghost from the past making an appearance…
Having ideas about showing up in the dust next year… as an old guy now

OOoooh, will you be bringing your boat?

Fence pliers have been so perfect for pounding rebar or heavy tent stakes, and removing them. Another useful "tool" I won't camp without is a mister bottle. You can do so much more with so much less water. (Dish rinsing, teeth brushing, cooling off , and much more.) Then there's the small hand brush...

I'll miss seeing you, too, BvB! It's always such a treat to get to talk with you. And for me, the drive there and back is always an adventure. Now and then throughout the year, I find myself daydreaming about being on the road, somewhere between here and the Playa. (...or the Hof, or the Amtrakathon...

Is that Bear Grass? We have a similar plant here, but I've never seen them quite so full of flowers. I hope your sequoias take hold! Will the elevation work for them? Seems high... I'm still in the same place, and hope to be here for the rest of my life. I do love this house! By now, I'm spoiled rot...

Yggy, how appropriate! :D ha ! yes. well, "appropriate" is a seldom used term in reference to my actions, but thanks. How's things in the desert? Things here are hot, Hot, HOT and HOTTER. I'm not as tolerant of the heat as I once was. Other than that, all's well. I'm growing a few vegetables for th...

Yggy, how appropriate!

So... I have one ticket (in hand) available to be purchased. It's at the 750 level. I'd love for it to go to someone I know, but that's not likely to happen at this point. If you (or someone you know and trust) are interested, please send me a message. I'm sad not to be attending the Burn this year....

Well, a few inquiries later, and I still have both tickets.
They'll end up in the STEP since I'm having no luck trying to keep them 'in the family'.
(STEP comes with even more fees for the buyer...)

HI Patsh!! How's things in the southland?

All's well over here in the 'desert'! It's already getting hot. I expect a long, hot, dry summer... Hoping the fire season will be manageable.
How about you, how are things in the Sierras these days? I miss the Hof...

Well shit, you will be missed out there, hope the "reason" is not a negative one. Well dang....

Thanks, mgb327! Not negative, just a bit of life getting in the way. It's all good!

I have purchased 2 tickets but have since found that I can't go out to the dust this year. Last year, I got my ticket through STEP, and found they now charge a bunch to use STEP. (I think it was around $66.00) If, after the next sale (coming right up), you still need a ticket, please send me a messa...

HI Sput! weekend, indeed! I "invented" a drink some years ago, that I've enjoyed. Goathead even liked them, when I introduced them to him at Bruno's in Gerlach, some years ago. I called it "the border crossing". Simple ingredients: a glass, ice, and equal measure of Gold tequila, and Yukon Jack liq...

As previously mentioned, the Burning Man Today Sale (previously known as the FOMO Sale) begins at noon PST on 12 February 2025. To participate in this sale, you must have already pre-registered. Partial Burning Man ticketing info for all the ticket sales is available here . There are limited number...

So, it looks like we're really gonna have a 2025!
Wondering if we'll have a 2025 version of the Bar.
(and, if so, where would I find it?)

Here's wishing all of us bar folks a wonderful, healthy, happy, and prosperous year.
Drinks are on me and I raise my glass to us ALL!!

You are not a bad friend, Patsh. You are a cherished friend. It was a lapse in communication, and you have apologized and I’ve accepted it. A valid threat of a houseguest seriously did wonders for the condition of my home. I am enjoying that still. “In spite of ourselves” is my new approach to the ...

Glad you got back safely.

Thanks, FIGJAM... my angels were definitely with me the whole way!

Well, I've turned out to be a bad friend and a bad burner. I had every intention of visiting Elorrum after the Burn. I caused her to miss Renegade, for which I am truly sorry. It was a lack of communication on my part. I was fighting a bad hip, which, for the past 3+ months, I was convinced was heal...

When I was a child, before I was close to puberty and all the good stuff, I thought Kotex/menstrual pads were actually big bandages for chin and ear injuries Turns out I was right

Now, that's appropriate!

So far, I haven't seen any mention of an ePlaya Meet'n'Greet.

These are the coolest, when we get to meet so many characters otherwise only seen online.
Does anyone know anything about one that may be planned?
Haven't found any other posts about it...

EMT comes in 10' sections. Anything longer would be a special order from the manufacturer.
Do you have 10' and shorter sections that have been connected together?

Looks like quantity of 28, length of 5'.

*rides in on War Rabbit™* *gets mug from ENECM* Wow, Patsh!! look at you go!! yay for you! It'll probably be interesting to see what has changed since last you were there. When I click on the link I posted above, I get the current map page that has the 2024 street names. The 2023 map is still up on the Website under Preparation Resources> Black Rock City Guide.
