Hey there guys, I haven't had playa lung but I think I may have got play throat? I didn't have any problems coming back from my burn two years ago but a couple-few months after it seemed that I developed a constant sore throat that just won't go away. I saw a otolaryngologist and he thinks the probl...

Vinyl Glue for Dome Covers?
Thinking about setting using vinyl for a dome cover this year but I don't know what would be the best way to seal it. Does anyone have any suggestions, sew, glue....duct tape? What kind of glues? Brand names?
Thanks!
Thanks!

What this project needs is exposure. I'm sure the momentum will build up but it seems like in order to pull this off we need to downsize and also use a really simple but effective picture. Thinking of more ideaz....will email when I do. Also note though that if it is line art then the desert floor w...

sorry guys been busy lately anyway I was thinking it'd be nice if you could, sputnik, take some of the picture ideas off this bulletin and post on website. But I was thinking more about pixelation and efficiency and stuff and I think it's imperative the image we choose looks good as black/white or s...

Ah Gatecrasher reaffirmed my original thought that we need something black/white style but I agree with mozy that we could add some color for the folks on the ground, and I agree with mrGod'z suggestion of putting it up higher, so as to have a multipurpose function and I'd be willing to bring 10 emt...

My roommate had an interesting idea also, perhaps you could use cars to draw the picture, as they're entering the city, would resemble the roads there with a brighter outline and then you could perhaps fill in some key areas to make it look more defined....i dont know just a thought.

Crypto the point of my post wasn't to pick one of the above said symbols but rather to show that something simple is better. It stands out clearer to have some sort of line art and use the desert as fill in, rather than something complex that won't really show up clear from a satellite perspective. ...

I really dig the idea, and if I can be of any help I will, if you need some help putting together the website I'm learning photoshop so I might be able to add some color to it...mostly I'm concerned though with the logistics, in particular how to keep the wind and people from destroying it and make ...

Costumes with feathers
I know it's important that feathers don't become moop so I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with angel wings on the playa. It's imperative to the costume. Or if anyone knows of a black non-feather wings available on the market that would be kewl too. I'd imagine they don't shed as bad as...

Anyone else had experiences with MRE's on the playa? I was able to find some made in 2004 for $5-7/each in a case of 12 on ebay. Just add water! Hell if the military issues the stuff in wartime situations...I'm guessing it'll work great battling against the harsh and torturous desert...Not to mentio...

Pot is not a gateway drug, it is a plant, a simple herb. That was DARE propaganda. Fact is many people who enjoy smoking pot do not use any other drug. You're personality is the gateway drug. Whether you first smoked a cig, drank a shot of liquor, smoked pot or even yes banged the smack, if you have...
