Re: Did you get a STEP Ticket?

Good New! Just a follow-up to my situation and last post. I received a 2nd email offering tickets and I was able to purchase them. Thanks to the BMORG for taking the time to listen and correcting the situation. Thanks for the kind thoughts sent my way. I am still hoping for more tickets for the res...

Re: Did you get a STEP Ticket?

Unfortunately there is no good news for me. I contacted ticketing because of the mess up with the system (time stamp 12:18:20). I received my original message Thursday morning. I received a reply from ticketing stating that I already had been sent a ticket and that my order was cancelled. It is true...

Re: Did you get a STEP Ticket?

My timestamp is 12:18:20. Looks like I'm not the only one. Hopefully they will get someone on it. I will email them, but I am late for a CORE build.
Thanks for the input.

Re: Did you get a STEP Ticket?

Good Morning STEPchildren! So I get my STEPtickets email on Thursday awarding tickets. I opened the link to check the price. This morning, I open the link to purchase the tickets and get this message: We're sorry but the email containing this link was sent in error during routine server tests. We ap...

Re: Did you get a STEP Ticket?

I’ve been lurking around this thread for months now, thinking about posting my own thoughts about this subject, but I haven’t been able to put the right words together…..until now. MORE TICKETS COMING TO STEP! I was in SF tonight for the Desert Art event and during the Q & A session, it was announce...

Re: A Supplement For The Festival

it sounds like you are basically asking for an "orphan burn" in the bay area? (but organized by the llc, and possibly with vending- but you won't be attending, because you want to go to the big burn?) Point taken! I guess I am just trying to look at options early (and for the future), particularly ...

Re: A Supplement For The Festival

I am suggesting this as an opportunity to accommodate some of the demand, since the supply is limited. I know that there are events during the year (I have attended many). What I am suggesting is something during the event that is part of the event since everyone will not be included in the event. I...

A Supplement For The Festival

Let me first say that I have heard about Burning Man for some time now and have friends that are long time Burners (early 90s). I really made an effort to go in 2010, but my financial situation made me decide it was not the right timing. I was able to watch the streaming feed on the Burning Man webs...

Re: What Music Do You Want To See @ the Burn??

I want to HEAR all the types of music that makes me want to dance (and that's alot). Not looking for the audience experience on my first burn (or any future ones for that matter), so I plan on dancing as much as I can. Dubstep is not as creative to me, but I will make due with whatever is gifted to ...

Re: To Bike or not to Bike?

I just bought a bike (today). My first bike (to go on my first burn) since I left home many years ago . I was resigned to possibly buying one from WM, but last night I saw a craigslist posting for a cheap bike and made contact. Turns out he's a Burner who is taking a break (possibly moving on). I ca...

Re: When It Comes to Tents......Is Bigger Better?

Thanks for the advice guys. If I am going to spend the money I really didn't want to get a 1 man tent (in hopes that if I use it for camping in the future, I probably would not be alone). Personally, I am use to a little more space, especially if I am having a little down time to rejuvenate. I am al...

When It Comes to Tents......Is Bigger Better?

Hey Everyone, This will be my first time at Burning Man. I was originally going to get a box truck or a cargo van, but I had an unexpected trip out of town and I am running out of time, so I think I am going to rough it in a tent. I am trying to get one with minimal screening to minimize the dust an...

Re: Bay Area Resident First Burn

Thanks for the welcomes! Where is the meet and greet at? I doubt I will be drunk, but I still may be learning my way around and have a hard time getting there. Also, just curious, how is the ticket numbering? I ordered mine online this past week (paid a premium, but I know it will be in my hand soon...

Bay Area Resident First Burn

Hello Everyone, I've been stalking these boards for a couple of weeks now and decided that I should register and introduce myself. :D This will be my first time to Burning Man, although I have gone to a couple of Decompressions and many fundraising events. I got serious about attending last year, bu...
