Came across this old post. Is it possible using long stakes or dog stakes instead of rebar? I am trying to pack most things in my backpack if possible. looking for anything that have less weight.

After much reading, I narrowed down to this two tents. I heard Eureka's can zip up all windows. Does anybody know if Cabela's also can close all the windows to avoid dust? Currently, I am going by myself but joined a large camp. I rather invest a little bit for years to come than getting cheapy one ...

After reading all the advices and meeting a few peeps, I decided to join a camp. A bit easier for me so that I don't stress about the survival necessities. I can't wait!!! Thanks for all your helps!!
