LA burners how can we help put these fires out? Would love to extinguish the perimeter before next windstorm without encumbering the default fire department system that is already overtaxed. Have bike rake shovel will ride to westside canyons and assist?

We left as soon as humanly possible after the Temple burn. The truck was rolling at 9:47 and we hit pavement at 12:45 so a three hour crawl out to the road with mostly decent drivers. I am planning on putting up a teatherball pole. If my pole is 2 3/8" outer diameter and 15' long (I know that seems far-fetched even for Burning Man, but stay with me here...) and I can actually find a 2 3/8" auger that is 5' long and I sink it 5' into the ground do you think that will hold up a wee...
