Hey, are you part of the cute couple who came to our couples smooch workshop?? I remember someone being lifted in, and I felt really bad about that!!! Yeah, I'm not sure what we can do... We actually had triangle shaped doors in 2004, but they were much less structurally sound than the diamond shape...

Anyone know who created this leaf? I'm one of the founders of Smoochdome and would love to know the story behind it!!
Thanks,

I think camp fundraisers (including raffles and auctions) should be allowed on ePlaya... 1. Camp fundraisers are allowed on Burning Man led email lists, and announce lists, and the Ranger lists, and in Jack Rabbit Speaks... Why is THIS venue, which happens to be on the Burning Man website, any diffe...

First of all, this is a 50+ person camp traveling 3000 miles to come to the playa and we have over $8,000 in expenses. So lets not make this personal, shall we? This is not about offsetting my personal expenses as I cover those (and much much much more) to get out there and still manage to have a mo...

I actually was very careful to just announce that you could win a sofa, because burners might be interested in that... According to the ePlaya rules, I made sure to avoid listing any sort of $$ amount, PayPal links, or anything like that. If you want more info, go to the link. If you don't, don't. A...

Good lord, this thread is insane! Burning Man is so much more than a big party, and what YOU choose to do there doesn't define the event. And personally, if drugs and sex is all you see and do out there, I can't understand why you bother to spend so much time and money going each year. Burning Man i...

Find out how to get one here: http://www.sashacondensed.com/photos/COUCH.jpg (Moderators, please feel free to delete the thread in the shared resources area. Capjbadger is not doing anything different than quite a few of us do. This is an online community and if we see something that violates the community guidelines or the TOS we speak up. Here's the thing though... While this is a community and there are guidelines that we want people to follow, not E...

You have got to be kidding me. Posting this is one thing, but rubbing peoples' noses in it as well? That's one dumb TROLL... Haven't you learned from your experience with me?? Frankly, I'd say that camp fundraisers deserve just as much an exception to the no commerce rule as does selling tickets on e-playa. Giving them their own area seems like a a great idea to me. Don't want to see 'em? Don't go there and look. Just like ticket sales. You know, it would be very easy to...

Yes Smash, while cross posting isn't against any written rule, it is viewed as very bad form to "spam" the same message all over a board. Please take this in the nice way that I mean it, but I really do take exception to being lectured by other EQUAL members of this community -- newbies, long time ...

It's true - I've worked burn perimeter the last two years and we're asked by the Ranger shift leads to have at least 5 (but really as many rows as possible) sit down so everyone can feel like they're getting a good burn experience. And it's hard to do! Not everyone wants to sit, and some people get ...

Ok, couple of things... First of all, I didn't realize the crosspostings weren't ok. After what's his face said something, I went and looked in the FAQs and since couldn't find anything saying that, so I went ahead and finished putting it where I thought it was relevant... And while I read the agree...

Like Smoochin? The SmoochDome could use a few more members to round out a mostly New York based camp. We've got about 15 people so far (including an English guy, a German, and an Australian) and are looking to max out around 20-25. We're not a "major" theme camp, but we've been around a few years.
