Re: Was there a waiting room problem?
Thanks for the info everybody, obviously there was a problem. The org did not do what they said they were going to do. I think they should take responsibility for that and apologize.

Was there a waiting room problem?
I saw a post in the "Random" thread that some people who logged into the ticket sale at 12:06 went straight to a ticket buy page while people who had logged into the waiting room were in stuck into a supposed queue. My question is did anybody buy a ticket without using the waiting room; log into the...

Re: Transparency and scalpers
If I were pressed to come up with 'my' numbers at this point I would put it somewhere between 35-50% of tickets went to scalpers and that's based on the anecdotal stories in a few Colorado camps and trying to correct for my inherent overestimation of things. My point would be that BMorg should be sh...

Transparency and scalpers
Couple ideas I'd like to throw in the soup here. I think this whole thing could use a lot more transparency, numbers, decision process, etc... I can't believe they went ahead with the lottery: they had to be sitting there on the 23rd with the rough results. I'm not thinking they knew exactly how it ...

Re: curious and trying not to be a conspiratorial theorists
The proposition that they ran the lottery for all three tiers before running the credit cards doesn't seem feasible to me in that if a charge doesn't subsequently go through you would theoretically be obliged to re-run the lottery on that tier... and that would be very problematic in figuring who wo...

Re: curious and trying not to be a conspiratorial theorists
For me this is a fun mystery to solve, kinda like a crossword.. Did they do the tiers 123 or 321, This can be easily solved if someone can provide information that they were charged 240 on their cc prior to someone being charged 390. I think all of the evidence I've seen so far points to 321. Was th...

Re: curious and trying not to be a conspiratorial theorists
I don't think there is a conspiracy here in that I believe that all of the actions have been taken by good people trying to solve a difficult problem. And, I think it can be said that most participants thought the drawing would happen in the order of Tier 1, 2, 3 and it appears that the drawing actu...

Re: Official "Awarded Tickets" Thread
I'm curios if anyone who put in at the 390 tier received a 320 tier ticket? Which I believe is another way of asking if over 15,000 people put in at the 390 tier.
